From 3.0.0 and up, Semos Animations Lib is optional.



Effects without animation lib:
    • Weapons are held in custom locations based on the weapon type
    • Entities will blink now and then
    • Entities will have a simple swiming animation when in water
    • Entities will tilt foward when they move fast (1.22+)
    • Entities sits in boats (and should on other mobs too)



Effects with animation lib:
    • Weapons are held in custom locations and have different attack animation based on the weapon type
    • Entities will blink and have detailled eyes mouvements
    • detailled swimming animation
    • Entities have a "bumpy" animation when walking, they also look around and will tilt foward when they move fast (1.22+)
    • Entities have an idle animation giving the impression of breathing
    • Entities sits in boats (and should on other mobs too)


Note: Some entites have different behavior due to technical limitations.
Ex, Chillagers don't blink nor they hold their weapon in custom location


### This pack aims to bring compatibility for [​Fresh Animations] with mods!
This pack is not affiliated with FreshLX, and meant to be used alongside his pack.



Make sure to use latest of [Entity Texture Features 7.0.1] & [Entity Model Features 3.0.1] mod. I want to cover mods from both Forge and Fabric, and try to retain how texture is mapped for each mod, so you can easily still have your own. It will be notified if for whatever reason I can't. This pack should work with any Minecraft Version that EMF/ETF supports. OptiFine does NOT cover modded entity support so it is not compatible.

Disclaimer! You might experience some bugs, like a helmet on an entity is not following the head correctly, or some attacks won't have animations. In some case it might be me, or it could be the way the mod works with EMF which is not possible to fix.


If you see something weird that I'll be able to fix, you can open a issue on [GitHub]!

🛠️ Known issues:
- Some models are incorrectly displayed in boats on 1.21.1 and up (will be fixed later)
- Entities with different layer of textures like forge guards have some z fighting (likely related to this issue )
- Skeleton villagers glitch their arms on top of their head for a split second when they switch their pose
- Griefer armor does not follow the arms and body properly
- Griefer, trickster and skeleton_villager have some unwanted texture on their LOD model face, despite beiing the default one. Their LOD are not active for now.

im not sure if its intentional but there is a default creeper texture built into this that makes it conflict with anything that edits the creeper texture

iirc this is there for the creepie of Savage and Ravage. But it should not affect vanilla creeper. Can you send a link to the pack you uses that edit creepers? I'll have a look.

Also, what version are you using. I know on latest minecrraft models have been changed and about any model packs broke

I created a skin pack for steve-model guard villagers based on your texture pack from Freshly Modded. I added eyes to one of the skins, but I noticed that the second skin layer is missing or appears to be positioned above the head. I've also tried this with Steve-based skins, and the second layer is still missing or positioned incorrectly. Is this a bug? Thanks for the fix btw! Looks cool now and I can make skins with eyes using your template, but second layer seems to be an error or is intentional?

Guard Villagers BUG: Steve Model can't wield the crossbow and bow + they have two bodies merging, one stiff and one animated.
