The day after breaking into Martin Helsyth's secret room beneath the basement and battling his robot, which was possessed by his spirit, IGEBM, Si, and Storm have decided to have another calm and normal day. Sadly, nothing is ever that simple.
IGEBM walks through the woods, admiring the dark oak trees around him. As he descends deeper into the forest, going near the edge, he smells something burning, and soon, he sees an orange light ahead of him. The lore writer dashes towards the source of the smell and light, and finds that part of the forest is on fire! He turns around and runs back to Shiver Mansion as fast as he can. "Forest fire!" he shouts as he runs through the doors. "What?" Storm asks, hurrying out of the kitchen, where he's cooking eggs. Si hears him from upstairs and rushes out of his room and down the stairs in the foyer/living room. "Forest fire?" he asks. "Follow me." IGE answers. "I'll explain on the way. Oh, and get some water."
They make their way back towards the fire (carrying buckets of water) which is spreading further when they arrive. "Oh carp." Si says. "How did this start?" "Let's figure that out after we put it out." Storm responds. They begin to throw water on the flames, putting them out, but the fire is still spreading further in the woods. "Wait, isn't there a portable hose for the crops?" IGE asks. "Oh yeah!" Storm answers. "I'll get it." He runs to the farm and returns several minutes later with the hose, which he wheels towards one side of the blaze, pulling the hose out and spraying the fire with water to put it out. He then goes over to the other side and puts that out.
By the time all the fire is gone, parts of the forest have been burned away, and many of the trees around them look blackened and charred. "There was definitely no kindle around." Si says, looking around for the cause of the fire. "I hardly ever see fallen branches in these woods. "Yeah, I don't see anything either." IGE says, examining the trees. "Uh, guys, you may wanna come over here..." Storm says, nervously looking at the side of a burnt tree near where the flames started. IGE and Si come over, and see the same thing he sees: a red pentagram carved into the wood, glowing red with ectoplasm. "That same symbol was on the book the statue in the cemetery was holding, remember?" Si reminds his friend. "I think it's best we get out of here." Storm responds. They turn around and hurry back to the mansion.

you can ask Si about it, but it’s his way of toning down the word “crap” (kinda like saying “flip” instead of “f—k”)
I’ve used it in my other stories too lol
but “carp” is hilarious as a substitute
