Update Aquatic 2

By ProGameBot

Update Aquatic 2 is a data pack meant to overhaul the ocean experience in Minecraft.
Adding structures, bosses, items, mechanics...etc.
The goal is to not only make the oceans more approachable, but generally more exciting and worthwhile to explore!

FEATURES:

MOBS

-Anglerfish! They lay on the ocean floor, waiting for prey. They have poor vision, so they won't see you unless you get relatively close. Drops Illicium, the 2nd tier currency for the Merfolk.

-Jellyfish! Wonderful ambience. Bottle them by right-clicking with an empty glass bottle. It will give you a Jelly Jar, a decorative light-source block.

-Clams! Right click to open them, and there is a 50% chance it'll give you a pearl (tier 1 currency with the Merfolk)

-Seahorses! Underwater mounts. Must equip with a saddle. They will provide a strength effect to those riding them. Look all the way up or all the way down to ascend or descend. A total of 100,000 texture variations!

-The Merfolk! A new villager type found in the Sunken Cities. Trade with them by right-clicking on them with one of the 3 currency types. The higher tier the currency, the better value loot table the trade will pull from.

STRUCTURES

-Minefields! (Micro-biome) These mines will spawn all over at random elevations, and will explode if you hit them or shoot them with arrows (takes a few tries!) The ocean floor underneath will hide some valuables, including a broken down submarine for you to fix!

-Coral Forests! (Micro-biome) Akin to a taller coral reef, but with ores and goodies hiding on the ocean floor. These are the main sources of clams in this pack.

-Sunken Cities! Atlantis-inspired cities, home of the merfolk. They are quite big and a few chests can be found. You can also trade with the Merfolk

-The Kraken's Nest. Some good loot can be found here, if you can handle the Kraken that is...

VEHICLES

-Submarines! Look all the way up or all the way down to ascend/descend. Will grant permanent Conduit power when ridden! Find them broken down in the minefields. Right click on them with 1 iron block, 5 redstone dust, and 1 glass block to repair it.

ITEMS

-The Helm of the Sea! When worn, it grants permanent Conduit Power and Depth Strider III.

-Eldritch Core! When in your offhand, grants +2 damage, resistance, and fire resistance, but at the cost of rapid hunger. Trade with the merfolk for the Helm of the Sea.

-Pearls! Tier 1 currency with the merfolk

-Illicium! The glowing bulbs of the anglerfish. Tier 2 currency with the merfolk.

BLOCKS

-Jelly Jar! A decorative light-source block. Works underwater.

-Mines! Found in the minefields. Cannot be collected or crafted. Set them off by hitting them, or by getting too close. Be ready, they pack a SERIOUS punch!

BOSSES

-The Kraken! Found in its nest. Recommended you bring several boats and a bow with plenty of arrows. It will slap you with its tentacles or shoot out a ray of splash attacks that can break your boat. If you get in its mouth, its instant death. Target the weak point at the base of each tentacle to destroy them and destroy all eight tentacles to defeat it! Drops an Eldritch Core.

CHANGE LOG:

Since the Early Access release, several technical improvements have been made to make the pack run more smoothly and cleanly. Honestly the code is a bit of a beast, but some large fixes have been made.

V1.1:

CHANGES

-Made all structures generate about 25% more often.

BUG FIXES

-Changed Pearls, Illicium, and the Eldritch Core from being based on string items to books instead. I forgot string could be placed...

-Jellyfish now spawn correctly and no longer leave ghost models of de-spawned jellyfish occasionally.

TECHNICAL REWORKS

-Jellyfish and Anglerfish have been modified to use significantly less commands per tick.

-Minefields have been significantly optimized, reducing their load by around 20%.

-The de-spawning system has been reworked to be more stable.

LOVE the atlantean/merfolk/seahorse/coralforest part, but not a big fan of the, in my opinion too modern, sub and minefields (don't get me wrong, they're great creations, just not my taste). Would have been nice if it were 2 seperate packs so one can decide to have either or both.

Also; is there a way to spawn or transport the seahorses? Would love to be able to collect the different kinds.

I have this on my geyser server and java players can see the entities, however they are invisible for bedrock. I converted the resource pack to bedrock but it didn't fix anything. Any way to get this to work on bedrock too?
