  It really annoys me how in school registers, they don't change people's deadnames to their chosen names
  In one of my classes today, we had a sub, and he was just reading names from the attenfance list, as one would, but in that were the deadnames of three people in the class, one of whom is my best friend
  schools need to change it, at least on the attendace lists

  Some teachers aren't even trying to call people by their preferred name.
  I have a classmate from Central Asia, his first name is really long and teachers aren't even trying to say it (it's not difficult, just longer than average). Instead they call him by his last name. He uses a shorter version of his name and explains it to every teacher that struggles with reading the list.
  The problem is that someone teachers still don't remember it after such a long time. Sometimes sub teachers get it quickly, but our regular teachers aren't even trying.

  Here’s a little doodle of Naomi holding the disability flag !!! and a little information abt the flag and its design. Each of the colors represent different kinds of disabilities; red = physical disabilities, gold = neurodivergence, white = invisible/undiagnosed disabilities, blue = psychiatric disabilities, and green = sensory disabilities. I have multiple kinds of disabilities so it’s rly important to me to talk about this month and spread awareness. :)

  i literally wear the same stuff every single day
  hehe i'm like a cartoon character :]
  
  consists of:
  mandatory black hat/beanie/headband/anything on my head really
  very colourful straight in your eyes flannel
  graphic tee or whatever is next in my pile of clothes
  cargo pants or black jeans (only big wide legs though)
  boots because of course
  
  i also have some other flannels that are other colours and then i just colour match
  like i have a black and white flannel, then everything i wear is black and white
  or a red and black flannel is usually with a black tee and either black or green cargo pants
  
  also a black long sleeve shirt i wear underneath giant oversized tees sometimes
  i also have SO MANY shirts of like hard death metal bands that i got from my uncle and that is like 99% of my shirts

  not sure if this *really* counts as current, but u could dedicate a little portion of your project on the stonewall riots (where pride month began) as an example of how long LGBT+ folks in the "modern" era have been fighting for acceptance/equality? like to me, it's current because it's part of an ongoing issue, but it happened in the late 60's so it'd probably be better as a lil mention and not the main topic.
