    just thought I'd mention - I've been active on here a bit lately, but I've turned off wall posts in my custom feed for the time being. they kind of clog up my feed with stuff I don't really care about, and since I'm mostly here for skins, it's easier without them. so yeah dw I'm still active here! :D
    probably going to post a new skin tomorrow and start working on some pride skins for june (probably going to have to be unshaded since I can't skin that fast anymore)

    SSPBL SEASON 5 SIGN-UPS ARE STILL LIVE!

    It has been around a week since we announced the return of SSPBL, now with a $50 steam gift card kindly sponsored by Cyprezz as a prize pool, and in that time span we have received 22 lovely entries! If you too, want to enter the current season of SSPBL, there's still time! Make a skin using 12 colours from the palette showcased here. We have provided all of: a big image of the palette, a skin file with the palette placed onto it and finally a PMCSkin3D palette file.

    Sign-ups will close the 1st of May so remember to get your entries in before then!     wow I haven't really been on pmc at all lately! I've been super busy with school and sports and such, but I'm hoping to get back into skinmaking at some point.
    tomorrow (monday) I'll most likely be posting an announcement on my bases account on skindex, saying that it will be deleted on wednesday or thursday, so expect a mega-post of all of my bases on here at some point! my skins account will remain inactive there.

    thinking about deleting my skindex posts and just moving here permanently. I barely use skindex anymore, and it really sucks to come back and find people claiming my work as their own for contests and stuff.
    it's even worse that some of these people are ones I admired when I first started skinning. so yeah that hurts badly.
    gonna think on the decision for a while ofc.

    thank you for the advice! I had a similar experience a few years ago so I totally understand what you're saying. if I do delete my skindex posts, I'll definitely have all of them saved to my computer. I might also do a one-post dump of all of it on here, just so that it can still exist online. thank you again! <3

    some unsolicited advice,

    i recommend never deleting ANY of your work. even if people are stealing, you'll always have the timestamps there of when you first posted it. when i first started to skin, i deleted a looooooot of my stuff because of my emotions. i was never able to fully recover all of it and i regret not having the opportunity to look back on some of my first skins. think of your work as a continuous portfolio, you never know when you'll look back on your past skins and see how much you've grown or re-incorporate some old techniques you forgot about!!



    it is entirely up to you but i thought maybe my experience will help you think through some of it :') and save you from a lot of heart ache. if you still want to remove your work from skindex, see if you can save it on a flash drive or upload it to PMC! best of luck <3
