I Think this drawing is better than my last one

It has now been ten years since I released my first adventure map Assassin of Steve!

To celebrate, I have released a special 10th Birthday edition of the map, which can be downloaded on the map's Planet Minecraft page. In it, the spawn rate of all mobs has been increased by 10x! This is a challenge designed for large multiplayer groups.

In addition, I will just spread a big thank you for the awesome community that has formed around Assassin of Steve as well as my other projects such as a little datapack named BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack. To everyone who has contributed to the Assassin of Steve Wiki, to those who have worked on fan-made spinoffs where the maps are modified with new challenges and stories, and to those who have gotten excited and hyped for the prequel The Ender War.
Once again, happy ten years, and here's to more years to come!

Mission 3 of The Ender War: An Assassin of Steve Prequel is now here!

A brief changelog (read the full one on its page)

• Added Mission 3.
• Updated for 1.20.2 use.
• Added the Gameplay tab to the advancement menu.
• Added hints. Hints appear during gameplay when encountering a certain mechanic for the first time. At the beginning of the map you can choose to see All Hints, Some Hints, or Few Hints.
• Overhauled potions (as seen in my earlier post above).
• Added a /trigger command named effect_list that lists all the potion effects you have, what they do, and their time remaining.
• Lots and lots of bug fixes across the entire map!

If you wish to just play Mission 3, at the beginning of the map (after choosing a difficulty and other settings), run this command to start from the end of Mission 2:
/function aos:pre_map/begin_m3
Otherwise, you can just start the map as normal from the beginning for the full experience (so far)!

I think I need to tear a lot of Haven down and rebuild it from the ground up. I don't want to redo everything I've done so far but I've been stalling on updating this pack since like 1.18 and I just can't find the drive to do it. I load it into my game from time to time to try and get some of my inspiration back but a lot of times I wander around and just don't really like what I see anymore, and I think a lot of that just has to do with my style and texturing ability changing as the years went on.

Despite this, I don't want to let go of it just yet, but something definitely needs to change. I'm missing that creative momentum I had from the last overhaul I did and I want to feel excited about working on it again. Might need to step back and draft up some new concept art before I dive into it again...

Today is a very special day - it has been ten years since I first created my Planet Minecraft account. Ten years since I released the Battle Castle, my first project, and in those ten years since I have released many adventure maps along with the hugely popular BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack and all of its related projects.

This has been such a massive part of my life, and for some of you my projects have become a massive part of yours as well. I just want to say a huge thank you to you, the community, for enjoying what I've made. I will also extend a thank you to my team of Ender Captain Moderators for keeping your colourful eyes on my discord, as well as to the especially active members on the discord and everyone who has ever supported me on Patreon. You are the best!

In celebration, I am releasing the first two missions of my new adventure map The Ender War: An Assassin of Steve Prequel right here on Planet Minecraft! It currently comes in at about 2-3 hours of gameplay, but it is just a taste of the adventure that I plan for it to become.

The first ever Assassin of Steve map was released way back in 2014. But did you know that my Planet Minecraft account and my first project, the Battle Castle, was created on 13th September 2013? We are rapidly approaching ten years of Cave on PMC.
What else... oh yeah, in order to celebrate, I will be releasing the first public early-access version of Assassin of Steve Minus One, which has now been titled The Ender War: An Assassin of Steve Prequel!
The map will contain the first two missions entirely completed. As I develop and complete more missions, the map will be updated to include them. Why am I doing this, you may ask? It's so that, instead of having to wait years and years for the map to be fully finished, we can all share the excitement and go on this grand adventure together!

I haven't made much progress with Haven lately, partly since I've been waiting for 1.20 to drop so I can properly update the biome colormaps, but in the meantime I've been tinkering a bit with a Default enhancement pack over the last few months or so.

I'll hopefully have a download ready for this in the near future. It's basically a mix of some light CTM, block randomization, some features ported over from Haven plus other projects that inspired me, and more. Also wanted to see if I could bring back some of Minecraft's old programmer art textures but in the style of modern minecraft pixel art (such as the melons for example)

I'm not planning on it being a huge overhaul of the game's textures, but moreso just an addon to enrich what's already in the game.

BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack 1.16 - Trails and Tales
Minecraft 1.20? Hurray! It's time for some Tails and Trales - I mean Trails and Tales!

Update highlights:
- 44 new advancements all about Archaeology, Armor Trims, Camels, Sniffers, and all the other random junk added to Minecraft 1.20. 1100 advancements are now in the datapack in total!
- 10 brand new trophies, the best one being the Fart in a Jar. Just kidding. I mean, that *is* one of the new trophies...
- Trails & Tales update features have been added to existing advancements.
- Some statistics tab advancements have been shifted to a second column.
- Simplified the welcome message.
- Many bug fixes.
- Refused to change "Serious Dedication".

The Hardcore version and Language Pack have also been updated! The latter now has Italian translations and updates to many other languages!

Check out the changelog for the full list of changes, there is a lot I can't cover here. With all that said, set out on your trails, make some tales, and get those advancements!
