I don't really remeber but it was slowly made between breaks in work/academia. Also a lot of time spent just in research and drafting how and where to cut stuff in the drawing. Wow I have completely forgotten about my Deviant art page, time to post some stuff I guess haha

Thank you so much! :) It can take some tries to get more complex shapes fully right, I really like to subdive things into boxes and then use them to size the contours of the more complex shapes. Cool, I wich good luck and I'll keep an eye out for it! Interesnting book, I have been wanting to buy a book about drawing to perfect my illustrations and I think that one might be it, so thanks for the recommendation :D

The book seems interesting. A quick search showed the book is als on the internet archive (although a Hardcopy is always nice).

In terms of educational drawing – my aim is more set on drawing manga and educational content related to the art fundamentals + manga. However, I have actually ordered home Scott Robertsons' book "How to draw", which delve into exactly the kind of stuff that Joao is drawing :D

Thank you! Yes it was drawn by me, in bits along 2 months, for sure my most challenging piece ever. And yes, it is mostly color pencil with some markers for shading and such. I have made a couple drawings, I have them posted on isntagram if you want o check.

To be honest, no I don't remember the Voxel trains. However it's a good excuse to take a look on your work again. ;-)

I don't know if you remeber, but I have made some portuguese models for Voxel trains, a IR pack. So now I am trying to make a small portuguese themed map to run them, but it currently it is little more than a wip station.

Ah the silent lurking more or less. Sounds interesting the new Minecraft work, I'll look forward to it.

Haha I do still come and check in here like once every two months. I have started a minecraft project a couple months ago but it is still very crude to share. Thanks, I hope to have it finished by october/november.
