do you like having pets/wish you had a pet?

I love my pets, and I love having them, but I’ve also never had a time when we didn’t have any pets. My family has always at least had fish when we didn’t have cats.

I’m not a big fan of pets, especially considering I could barely remember to feed my goldfish lol

I had a lengthy talk with my Mother about AI art and how discouraging it is growing up and wanting a future in creating media

AI art is not and never will be actual art because the whole point in art is expression and soul and actual intentional creation as opposed to blatant theft and exploitation of passion

The fact that some companies use AI to “””””””””Fix””””””””” the “”””””””””Imperfections”””””””””” that literally is what defines art and gives it perspective is genuinely sickening and rotten

It takes a certain type of scumbag to generate an image that is based entirely on someone else’s talent and claim it as their own and if you are one of those people you can let me know in the comments so I can block you

I think that the proper point in a program that can learn from its mistakes are things like chat bots that can help you with what you’re trying to do instead of just doing it on its own

It just feels so backwards that humans do chores so AI can have fun

Anyway apologies for the negativity but AI is one of few things that actually pinches a nerve for me and I know I’ve talked about it before but it’s going to stay a problem until something actually happens about it (Which it won’t because why would the billionaires who run the world ban something that saves them money)

That's actually really funny, because I get ideas from literally everywhere I can scratch them out. A few examples include:
Seeing videos or video essays that talk about aspects of stories and their techniques or even just people chatting about stuff that's on their mind and their observations about those things.
Personal experiences and struggles; one of the most prevalent for me is my skin infection, which has made me rather fixated on body horror.
Seeing odd shapes or funny patterns in literally nothing (like walls or buildings), deciding to doodle what I see, and then trying to string together a story for that doodle.
Just stealing ideas from stories that are too old for people to remember or read.

Hey I wanted to say sorry I haven't been so active lately. A mod deleted one of my posts (no hate on mods ofc) so that was kind of daunting. I've also been busy with life and thanks to my amazing girlfriend, I now have better things to do than a nerdy minecraft fansite (no offense to anyone on here. Also touching grass is fun you should try). I'm hoping to be more active over the summer and maybe ill actually post a skin.

Diamond just walked into my room carrying a plastic clothing tag in her mouth, and when I took it away she proceeded to look for it frantically. Eventually, I showed it to her and had her watch me put it in the trash. Now she’s getting cuddles, and I offered to crochet her a new toy because her favorite toy is something I crocheted.
