These past few years have been a real test on my mental fortitude. I'm not doing well, but no one would be in my current circumstance.

It's a very cringe way to start off this little post to the void of the internet for anyone to see but I want to get a weird thought off my mind.

Roleplay, especially on minecraft, has been a medium and place where I've developed and grown up on. I never put too much thought into what it is I uploaded on this place, but I always did things for the different communities that I was involved in. People forget, and history will always forget the little or large things that you do even if you want to leave a mark on the world. No matter how hard I tried as a kid to have a memorable moment with people, I've come to accept- and grew comfortable, that it'll all be forgotten anyways; so who cares what occurs in the moment?

I never expected people to recognize me, years later, for any work I've published on PMC. But every now and then, the tik-tok algorithm sends it my way, different people in different spaces using my work. Or sometimes, I'll join a new place, and I have people who recognize me from my minecraft gamer-tag.

It's not bad, but I can't help but flinch (lol). It's nice (lovely in fact) to hear from different people who have used my old skinning templates to help get a start on a new hobby. I also love seeing the progress that they've made over the years with art and skins. Yet it's made me realize how harsh the past few years have really been on me and my confidence-- that I'll get lambasted for uploading instead of keeping it hidden.

Recent encounters with a few clients (art comms) sometimes makes me worried that I'm not projecting myself as positively as I want. I have to work on improving my poker-face from here moving forward. Everything has been just a little sad, but it gives me some peace if my very old projects have served some use to some people. Maybe, who knows, I might do it again or update what's already out there :shrug:

I have these red vans that say waffle and lover on them and they are so cute, and I've been wearing them a lot lately mainly to walk coco round our local park, and I've always found them perfectly comfy to wear when doing so, so I figured I'd wear them to walk round all of London today. now I feel like my knees might fall off! remember folks wearing shoes with arch support is good!

I heard a song being played today and I was so convinced it was panic at the disco i was like damn panic at the disco in 2026 and I went home and hummed the song into my phone. turns out it was a Simon and Garfunkel song and I'm an idiot XD

okay I know I said I'd be posting more frequently *checks calendar* over a month ago, but I promise I'll post something soon LOL. I recently got distracted writing an angry email to my local Bubbletea shop. but in the mean time I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for switch games lol, I've heard the sky walker saga is good but I've also heard it's not as good as the version from like 15 years ago

I just wanna say I kinda love my life right now, I'm doing so much better than I used to be. By 2024 I was kind of lost and didn't know where I was going with life, I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact that the only real thing I did besides work and message friends on Discord was post stuff on here and make mods, I had plans for my life and they fell through so I just focused on what I knew how to do which was posting minecraft mods. It was alright, but it was kinda lonely.

Then in early 2025 I decided I'd had enough of being always either at home or at work, I wanted to get back into socialising, so I asked an old friend to introduce me to his friends and everything spiralled from there - after the first night out at the bar I was hooked, I started going out meeting people every week, sometimes multiple times a week, at first just talking to people in my group but then I kept meeting other people who liked my vibe or my outfits and wanted to talk, and gradually my initial shyness faded.

Ever since then I've gained more and more close friends, experienced so much more of life, learned how to dress nice, met famous people, gone to parties and events I'd have been scared of a few years ago - all sorts. The way people see me has changed a lot too and I'm still not used to it, I get called hot by women I'd have obsessed over a few years ago, I get complimented on my outfits or hair nearly every night out, and I've got no plans to slow down my progress either. I mean if this is how things are after a mere 16 months of regularly socialising irl then what will I be up to in another year? Another 2 years?

This is also why I've been slowly getting less active with site moderation, mod creation, skins, all of it - it's nice but irl stuff takes priority. (Luv you all tho :3)

Kept my job
Whole bunch of stuff I ain't sharing here or can't remember rn
Overall had my best year yet!

2026 Plans:

Go to at least 3 anime conventions and 4 pride events
Don't unblock anyone I shouldn't unblock
Reach another million downloads on curseforge
Update at least one of my main mods to 1.21.1 or above (not all of them, please don't make me)
Get better outfits
Get curvier
Find chaos frog again (very strange woman I met at a pride event)
Keep my job
No more than 4 mental breakdowns (I'm not counting anything below 15 mins)
Stop forgetting my moisturiser
Meet more of my online friends
Spend less money than in 2025 (or make more)
Whole bunch of stuff I ain't sharing here
Have an even cooler year than 2025
