Having a break from my train station project. Here is the C.P. 5600 series eletric locomotive, also known as 'Eurosprinter' or 'Siemens'. This project features the loco with several adds painted on the side, as well as the cab and inderior.

History: Around 1980 to 1990 'Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses' started a modernization project and, among other investments, they ordered some eletric engines from Siemens, which were based on the spanish 252 series, that came from the german E-120 locos. They were built to haul both passenger and freight. They entered service in 1993 and, in the same year, while pulling 3 corail cars, engine no. 5601 was the first loco to hit the top speed of 220km/h in Portugal. In 2006 they were the most powerfull locos running. They were also the first engines to have the red and white color scheme, unlike the previous orange and brown. Engines 5601, 5602, 5603 and 5604 were given the names of: 'Entroncamento', 'Porto', 'Lisboa' and 'Aveiro'.

Stats:
Series: 5600 (locos nº. 5601 to 5630)
Engines built: 30
Top speed: 220km/h
Power: 5600 kW (or 7560 CV)
Weight: 87T
Electricity: 25kV, 50Hz
Gauge: Iberian gauge (1668mm)
Wheel diameter: 1250mm

Note: I don't take any credit for the real life photos of the engines shown, they are only used for the sole purpose of providing people with a mean of comparison between my work and the real thing.

Thanks. If you say so, I never thought of scale, I just built until it feels good. I came to that size after scaling up from 1 wide tracks to 2 wide to 3 wide, on which I finally felt comfortable building...

I didn't use scale either, but now I see how useful and important it is, especially when building at a larger scale. just the height, width and length of the train are enough to make a nice model, and it makes so you can combine builds much easier.

Yes, getting the proportion right is halfway to a good build, it is my top concern, though I don't bother using a exact scale I try to match the proportions of the pictures. I went checking, the real one measures: 20x3x4,5 m and mine is 37x7x9 which gives 1.85:1 2.33:1 and 2:1 and that averages to 2.06:1 so I think we can say that my scale is 2:1
