This is my first of a few buildings that will compose the Music Center of the city in the South District of the New Quarter. This concert hall has been inspired primarily by the Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles designed by Frank Gehry. But where i referenced that concert hall was primarily the actual hall itself, which was designed by acoustic engineer Yasuhita Toyota (though Gehry chose the materials and colors of the upholstery of the seats). My concert hall, though inspired by them, is meant to be my interpretation of their design rules, and using my own understanding of architecture to create this concert hall. This building is the largest by floor area of any building i have made thus far in Minecraft, and is easily the most complicated.

Dimensions: 154 x 124 x 56

Using High Rossferry City Texture Pack
Thank you Darkone55

Thank you. I'm thinking of revisiting the project in the future and revise the performance space. The Disney Concert Hall is quite an impressive space, and has beautiful acoustics. Had to have been amazing to play in.

I will see if i can get to it. I am preoccupied with the current PMC contest, so that will take up any time i have for minecraft for the time being.

Thank you. The structure was rather large compared to other buildings in my city. If you look at the map, it takes up a large portion on the south side. I've always had problems with interior renders (especially in my school projects). But i'm glad these one's came out decently.

And just another question: How long did the first render take?

It's okay, the images don't always show the true scale. The renders i think took about an hour or two each, which isn't that bad for a render, but my computer does have some troubles with them. though i am speaking relatively, as some of my renders for school have taken upwards of a day to finish (though they are more complicated models and rendering software)

1 - 2 hours sounds pretty fast for a render with ermitters ON (I guess you used Chunky)
You must've got a beast computer!

I'm always desperated when a render takes longer than 30 minutes :P
