Everyone knows the Nether, right? Well what if I told you, that Mojang has been telling a lie about the Nether this whole time!
Before I get into this theory, I just want to say that I have 24 subscribers :D They are: Monii, Maloy, TheTuxedoCat, madmax3004, luongdinhtu, Histor, CreeperLadMC, iHazelnut, striker107, Dragon_GamerGirl, Kitty__Gamer, Submarinebuilder, Fireflower500, WhaleTuba, AjChrisNunez, Arcees, SuperScorpion, Vancedfreakshow, bunny+judo, SunnySushi, Morpheas, Magmuh, orcaboydylan, and RogueHax (Please forgive me if I spelt any of them wrong).
So, this theory states that the Nether, isn't the Nether. This may seem crazy, but consider this. When you dig past bedrock, you fall into the void. If the Nether really is the Minecraft version of the Underworld, then you'd get there, wouldn't you? Also, upon pressing F3, you can see the biome is called, "Hell." Well, Hell can mean either the Underworld, or a grieved place, which would make sense in this theory. Also keep in mind that the Nether is another dimension. It's never stated that it's actually under the Minecraft world. We can also see things such as Zombie Pigmen, and Magma Cubes, which is safe to say that it's the Nether's version of Pig/Zombies and Slimes.
So, what IS the Nether? Well, I'll just tell you right now. The Nether, is an older version of the Overworld! How is this possible? Well, I have a theory. Lets look at the sun and moon. They're always on the opposite side of each other, and there never seems to be an eclipse. Odd.
So, how would this make sense? Well, what if the Minecraft Earth didn't orbit the sun, but the sun and moon BOTH orbited the earth? It may seem crazy, especially because of the size, but our sun is 4,366,803,666 meters. The Minecraft earth is 60,000,000,000 meters! So it's not to hard to say this.
How does the sun and moon orbiting the earth have anything to do with the Nether? Well, when something is orbiting a something, it's always being pulled in. Just very slowly. And the Minecraft day and night is only 10 minutes, so you could assume they're moving pretty quick, therefore, when it crashes, there'll be a big impact.
When the sun crashes, it'll spread lava and fire everywhere, and infect blocks such as cobble and grass, turning it into netherrack and magma blocks. The moon crashed, creating debris everywhere. This explains why gravel is accessible, and why the nether is very foggy. Also, keep in mind that you cannot build Nether Fortresses without cobblestone, which is not accessible in the Nether.
So how does the mobs fit into this theory? Well, the Zombie Pigmen is obviously a mutation of a Zombie and Pig. The Slimes probably absorbed lava, turning them into Magma Cubes. The Ghasts are the dead souls of players, who were killed by the impact of the sun and moon. The Wither Skeletons are skeletons that have gotten debris all over them, and the Wither affect is when you get infected by it. Also, I have finally figured out what Blazes are :D
When you look at Blazes, you can see a head, which is what I think is the miners' head. The things that float around it are iron bars, which are very hot, so they're malleable, which is why you can slay them. Smoke is obviously the fire on them.
But some things weren't affected by this. For example, the mushrooms that were in the Overworld still grow. There are also caves in the nether, along with an ore you can find in there.
In conclusion everyone, the Nether is in fact a future version of the Overworld. But hey! That's just a theory! A theory that I hope you've enjoyed! Thanks for reading :P
