Thank you for reading this text! It was very fun making it and I hope you enjoy it! This books follows a Earth Like place, though it has magic and various cities that may or may not have existed!

The old man sat upon the old mossy rock, overlooking the small village settled just infront of him. The city smelt of smoke and ash, as the children ran through the streets without a care in the world, as if they were the only ones left. The old man cursed life, a "wretched curse" beset upon mankind. They were young, yet he was old. What had he done with his life?

The old man, to the townfolk was called "Aslador", the city book-keeper. During his life, he collected books and knowledge for the town folk. [Occasionally traveling to an old ruin, just for a book]. Aslador has many books, ranging from the Bible to old texts that describe old events. Aslador was not whole though, as he was missing a very important book, hunted for centuries before by other Lore Keepers.

Aslador was looking for the book called "Comment devenir immortel", a loose french translation to "How to become Immortal". Aslador was obsessed with immortality, even paying a group of would be explorers to help him find the book. [They ended up robbing him]. After years of reading books, he located three spots that the book could be, each dangerous for a old man. The first, being in a old crypt in Egypt. The second, being in a abandoned cave, said to be haunted. Finally, it could be in the "Orguim Library", guarded by Demon Worshipers.

Aslador sat down at the village inn, he needed help to get to these places. Aslador lived close to Egypt, though it would be a couple weeks travel to get to the crypt. Soon, after writing down his options, a group of brave (Or perhaps foolhardy] adventurers stepped into the "Gold Blood Inn", located at the entrance of town. It appeared to be a Archer, a Mage, and a Slave. Aslador waved them over, showing the sign of a job. [A motion with your fingers that look like a gold coin].

The three men sat down across from Aslador. "What is it you want" spoke the Archer. Aslador explained to them the thing he seeked, his exact words were "A old book, long forgotten by man, I've saved up ten thousand gold, to be split between your group". The archer nodded in agreement. "I'm Yooj, my Mage friend is called Shark, and our slave is named Albin". He said. "I'm Aslador, keeper of Knowledge" He spoke. "Tomorrow, at high rise, we shall embark towards..." Said Yooj, looking at the note Aslador drew. "Orugium Library, only a weeks travel from here". The group nodded in agreement, and set out for the Library.

That night, Aslador tossed and turned in his small cottage. He looked out the window, and whispered "Orugium Library". Before passing out. When he woke, the three men were standing over him. "Old man, it is time to leave, lets go!" Shark yelled, Aslador grapped his knapsack and some belongings, and set out to the west. Yooj and Shark were up ahead, scoutting out the area. Aslador looked at Ujoo, and began to speak to him. "Where, if I may ask, are you from?" Aslador asked. Albin spoke in a silent voice "The harsh deserts, I never knew my parents, and I was sold into slavery by the Guard who found me in my shack". He said. Aslador looked down at him, and had nothing more to say.

"Lets set up camp here, the land is flat, and I don't think a bandit would come here". Yooj said. He then took Albin and threw him in a cage and locked it. "This one is a runner, last time I left him unlocked, he escaped and fled to a cave before breaking his leg, he is both lucky and unlucky that I found him". Yooj said with a twinkle in his eye.

Aslador looked off in the distance and saw bandits. He tried to get Yooj and Shark, but they were no where to be seen. He looked over at Albin in the cage, and unlocked it with the key by the campfire. "Blasted Man-Hoarders, running off in the middle of the night". Aslador said to the young slave. The door unlocked, and Albin stepped out. "Thank you Aslador, I owe you my life. I see the bandits, quick, we must escape into the forest before others see us". Albin said. Aslador nodded in agreement, and the both fled into the forest, in which even the bravest tiger could not enter.

The ran until they fell, and they passed out. When Aslador woke, he was in a carriage, as well as in a cage. Albin was no where in sight, he saw the Man Hoarder sign painted on the sign of the carriage. He was not in the forest anymore, but he did see a sign that said "Hajaah, 50 Miles" on one of the intersections. He tried to unbind his hands, but to no avail. Driving the carriage was Yooj. Traitors! He thought to himself, though, why would Slavers want a old man? Aslador knew why, they want to find out about this book, and the power it has.

Aslador fell out of the carriage, Yooj picked him up and threw his face into the sand. "Tell us, what is this book you seek". Aslador looked up at them. "Where is Albin" He said. Yooj and Shark laughed. "We killed him, he was useless to us. We only needed him to carry luggage, though I expect that with this book, we will be rich beyond our dreams" He said.

Aslador felt a tear roll down his cheek. "How could you have done this? This book I seek is evil, it can destroy humanity". Aslador felt a blunt object hit him on his back, making him fall to the ground. "We want to know now, and we won't kill you slo..." Shark was stopped by the sound of a horse. "Halt! You two, drop your weapons and leave this man alone!" The stranger yelled, the two charged at him, and the stranger stapped Shark, killing him. Yooj yielded, and begged for his life.

"My name is Azhluah, I see you are the two who bought my brother? Where is he?" Azhluah asked, looking down at Yooj. "He is dead, in the forest. Near Whilmshire". Yooj spooked, Azhlauh pulled out a curved sword, and chopped off the Man-Hoarder's head.

"Thank you, I'm sorry for you Brother." Aslador said. Azhlauh just sighed, and nodded in agreement. He picked up his sword and walked towards his horse. "Wait!" Aslador called, the tall man turned around. "Would...you like to help me find a important book? It would mean a lot, and your brother attempted to help me find it" Aslador said to Azhlauh. Azhlauh nodded, and began to walk with the old man. The two walked into the sunset. And then began to set up a camp.

"So, Azhlauh, where are you from?" Aslador asked. "A very harsh place, where raiders roam and kill and enslave people. As well as rape, I'm lucky I got out. Made my fortune as a Fisherman, own my very own company in a couple ports." Azhlauh said. "That is wonderful! I've always wondered what it was like to fish". Said Aslador. The two exchanged stories, and both were old men and had much to tell.

The sun appeared in blink of the eye, and Aslador was up. He showed Azhlauh his plan, and where to go and such. "The Orguim Library, you have to be kidding me" said Azhlauh, shaking his head. "That place is cursed, for what reason would you go there" He ashed Aslador. "This book is very dear to me, it olds the key to my life, and if I will live". Aslador whispered. The two removed their camp and set out towards the "Crypt of Nazul-Gah", located deep under a city.

Azhlauh and Aslador rode for some time, until stopping at a small town located just by a river. Aslador asked many people if they knew about this Crypt, all had no idea what it was, though they pointed the pair into the direction of the Crypt Keeper, located by the graveyard just outside of town.

The two walked towards the Crypt, it stunk of rotting flesh. Azhlauh drew his sword, worried of this under keeper. Aslador kept behind him, watching the door. Soon, the dark metal door shut, making a loud noise. Soon, they heard moans coming from the inside. "Shh, the dead walk here" Said a strange old man, who locked himself inside the office. "I...was working with dark magic, I awoke all the dead bodies here! You have to help me!" The Keeper whisper yelled. Azhlauh nodded, and pulled out a torch from his backpack.

The two carried on into the dark hallway, with nothing but the Torch to guide them. Soon, they saw a dead body, walking! Both became ill at ease, and Aslador drew a book from his bag, then said "Uzlau-Nocturnaliu", and the dead body dropped, limp to the ground. "We need to find this fool's ritual area, and destroy it, so the dead stop rising in this town" Aslador said to his new found friend, Azhlauh. To be continued...

I posted this in my old server forums! But, it is not finished, depending on the review, I MAY finish it!
