Winter Wonderland
Community Event Conclusion
The Winter Wonderland Event submissions were unique, like snowflakes! Skins included snowmen, skins bundled up in adorable winter clothes, nutcrackers, gingerbread men and women, reindeer and penguins just to name a few! This skin, “When the Wrapping Paper Fights Back” by CaelChan illustrates the struggles some of us have when wrapping gifts #relatable.
Characters from a couple of classic Christmas films were given life in the form of a skin - one being from a favorite of ours, Elf! Smiling is his favorite. Buddy the Elf is smiling like never before, thanks to Calendar Man! If you've never seen the movie, quit being a cotton-headed ninny-muggins and check it out! You'll thank us later.
If you're a fan of the Grinch movie, then you'll want to feast! feast! feast! your eyes on these skins - This one by -Bouncin and this one by Terminant perfectly portray the classic protagonist. Which version of The Grinch movie is your favorite?
PROJECTS
Projects were a-plenty with a total of 89! You'll find quaint wintry villages, realistic arctic mountain terrain, festive christmas scenes, cabins covered in snow, and much more! PMC Member Bobicraft managed to upload one project every day leading up to Christmas, two of which were submitted to the Winter Wonderland Event! Their first submission includes a large brick fireplace decorated with a wreath and other Christmas colored embellishments. Add it to your home in Minecraft for a super cozy spot during the Winter! Their second submission, Nutcracker, features an adorable bearded nutcracker statue, perfect for an outdoor or indoor decoration! Bobicraft's entire Christmas Series can be found here – all of them include a download!
Santa’s Missions by team Endorah is an impressive map built in the form of an advent calendar. It features 25 tasks (missions) that are imperative in the preparation for Christmas including making gifts and wrapping them! "The Grinch makes an appearance in certain missions to spice up the history!" states Endorah. The map also includes a roller coaster type train track, ferris wheel, nutcrackers, a snow globe and Christmas decorations galore! Download and celebrate Christmas once more!

Captain_JEK is known for his clever work of making realistic vehicles using minimal blocks. He submitted four winter vehicles to the event, including a Peterbilt Coca-Cola semi-trailer truck with festive detailing. (Pssst, there may or may not be a surprise hidden in the trailer of the truck!) One of his other submissions, Hot Rod Santa Sleigh, allows Santa to deliver presents not only efficiently, but in-style as well.

BLOGS
Sled on over to the blog section of the event and discover various short stories and a few works of art. Included in the Blog section is a self-portrait by Bibisaur, featuring an oversized cozy Christmas sweater. JediJerboawrote a story from the perspective of a puppy getting lost all alone out in the cold snow around Christmas time. Find out here how the story ends! We promise it’ll be a heart-warming read.
We enjoyed watching the Winter Wonderland Community Event collection grow and especially loved seeing the community come together for celebration this December. With the wintry decorations and community events the community got in a festive mood for the entire month. Members decorated their profiles, taught Topper new emotes, gave each other gifts, put on their cozy Christmas sweaters and overall enjoyed the festivities together. It was nice to see that since our first non-competitive event, even more builders took part! A big thank you to everyone who joined in. A special badge has been added to your trophy case! We hope you had fun this month and hope to see you again in our next event!
