Catenaty is a datapack that adds decorative chains and ropes, also known as catenaries, to Minecraft. You can place a catenary using custom Firework Rocket items, which lets you place the anchor points off the block grid for extra customisation.

Catenary items have a custom data component, which defines what kind of catenary will be placed. This data can be fully customised by map makers, but there's also a few presets available for survival players.

The newest version of Catenary also allows you to ride catenaries as a zipline! To use this feature, right-click one of the anchor points with a Bow. These ziplines have realistic movement mechanics, so be careful not to get stuck in the middle of a rope!

- Updated the pack to 1.21.9
- You can now use Copper Chains & Bars as rope materials
- You can now use Copper Golems, Amethyst Shards & Echo Shards as decoration materials
Note: old catenary items that used chains no longer work properly, because Minecraft 1.21.9 changed the chain's item & block id from `minecraft:chain` to `minecraft:iron_chain`. You will have to craft them again.

my suggestion would be to add glass blocks or glass pane "rods" as one of the decoration material options, so that colored fairy lights are possible. maybe even a crafting recipe for rainbow lights? can't wait to see where this pack goes, regardless.
