No post (other than this one) today lol. I don't feel up to anything but sleeping and watching an occasional movie. Don't worry, I'm probably fine, my fever has just gone up a lot and I'm very weak. I'll be better soon I'm sure :)

Should be posting some skins tomorrow if I'm feeling better! Sleep is medicinal imo lol, so if I can sleep for more than a couple of minutes in a row, I'll probably heal a lot >:D

I've been posting too much about being sick, but tbh all I've done is lay in bed, cough, and throw up for the past two days, so I don't have muchhhhh else to talk about

EXCEPT

I watched Wonka >:D

And I've gotta say, that movie is amazing. Considering I hadn't heard too much about it, I didn't have high expectations, but that was the highlight of my day lol

10/10, I do recommend. It was very silly and it made me want chocolate

Anyway, I'm gonna try to sleep for the third time tonight and see how that goes lol. Goodnight, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good whatever it is for you right now :D

There are several of those movies that I have not seen yet, but for those that I have watched, I can absolutely see why they made it to the top of your list!

For me I would definitely say the Batman movies, "Batman (1989)"and "Batman Returns" (1992) as well as their continuation in the Batman '89 comics. "Beetlejuice" (1988) both the movie and the animated cartoon series. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" "Sleepy Hollow" "Corpse Bride" "Sweeney Todd" and "Dark Shadows" the Mrs Peregrine movie, and yes the Alice in Wonderland movies as well as his "Dumbo" from (2019) which I feel is underrated. Believe it or not, I've never seen "Edward Scissorhands." That's something I hope to correct one day.

I absolutely agree! Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors. This wasn't his best movie, but he has many iconic and well loved movies!

AHHHH I spend hours on an assignment because it makes me happy to make things pretty, and all my professor had to say about it was that it was pretty but too much workkk 😭

Oklahoma has been having some bad earthquakes lately. I woke up to my bed shaking violently. I no joke thought someone was in my room trying to murder me, so naturally I turned on the light and looked to see who was attacking me and all I saw was my perfectly organized desk having everything bounced off of it lol

Ever just wonder if you're chilling with something undiagnosed?

I show some strong symptoms for some stuff, so I wonder if I'm neurotypical or not. Honestly, it doesn't really matter either way because I have the symptoms whether I have a diagnosis or not, just makes me curious o.O

I'm glad you feel that way Lila. I try to speak up for people with disabilities because as a Christian I believe that even though society may see the disabled as being inferior, they are still very much God's own children, and that as my friend who left Discord said (who also was neurodivergent) that they are far more in God's eyes than the disabilities that they have, so much more. But yes I pray that your parents will have a more open mind about people with disabilities, and that they learn just how wrong they are. It's really sad when so called "Christians" don't want to accept those who are different from them even though they worship the same God and the same Lord.

I absolutely agree. I'm upset that my parents contribute to the stigma, having subtly raised my sister and I with this concept of neurodivergent people being inferior (which we have both come away from believing). And yes, I do know that. You're one of a few friends who I know are. Knowing many people who are neurodivergent is a large part of why I've learned to disagree with what my parents have said about it all

(Sigh) that makes me sad because there is still such a stigma and so much prejudice against people with disabilities. I really hoped that after all this time we could have moved past that, but I guess in some ways the more things change, the more they stay the same. It's probably no secret, but you know that I am neurodivergent right?

They haven't really brought it up much, but they use language which leads me to believe that their outlook is, at the very least, unkind. They have said some very harmful things considering Asperger's in particular, which leads me to wonder what they think about other things. Over all, it's not a great topic to bring up with them too often
