It's the little surprises like this that make playing Alpha fun. Also found glitchy floaty water near there.

You ever just make a blog, cause you really need to voice something, then you finish it and you're like "im not posting this." and delete all your hard work?

wait now thinking about it this website is kinda like a big family (for the people you like at least)

because after a while everyone kinda starts to know each other and they sub to one another and eventually seeing posts from certain people is just like "oh [user] said something, thats funny and ironic because i get the joke because i know their personality and sense of humor"

and you sort of start to find the people that are in the same fandoms as you too which i think is pretty cool

or yknow after a while you see a post and youre like "oh, this must be them because only they would type like that and say that"

of course i dont like every single person ive ever met on here and i wont go into detail about that but still its kinda nice if you just block whoever you need to and move on and forget about it

no clue what the point of this post was but i just think its funny how im subbed to eighty billion people and im able to guess who quite a few of them are xd

Random post of the day because of a recent comment I made that might be seen in a bad light.

People like Minecraft, I enjoy it. The difference is I want to share my experience with others even if they themselves are not interested not because they also enjoy it, but rather because I want to spread my personal joy unto others. This is what being a community is about.

This is in the case of Closers and how I often pester a friend about it (whom has finally given in after months of harassment because I wanted him to play with me) - I adore the game as it feeds into a couple things I personally enjoy which are grinds, repetitive play, and awesome action.

He had no care for it yet I always showed him screens and videos I made because I wanted to give that love over to him. If both of us liked it, there wouldn't be a connection, simply two thoughts sharing the same line which creates an asymmetry to which people can connect.

Imagine if you will two puzzle pieces that are the same and that is the community of today. People like the game yet that is about the depth of it. There is not a diverse group of people because the game has flattened to pretty much one type of person: the player.

When I came back, I shared my story of my Alpha world, my interest in 1.14, but that pretty much amounted to not much in the way of connection. Some took notice, others were happy, but there wasn't really anyone to challenge me and that is where the sense of a community is lost.

There is no difference of opinions, just two sides of a coin. Those who like the game and those who do not. There is no in-between that makes the basis of one. Every person should be different and have their own thoughts, not be slotted into one camp or another.

Hopefully, my random thought comes across right because the vagueness of the term is hard to explain.

I remember the magic of Beta, the first year or so of playing minecraft was genuinely a magical experience - something which I think has sadly disappeared the more the game has been comercialised/monetised

I wasn't really looking to learn a language, I just wanted to finally put my many pet projects to rest since I had a habit of taking an interest only to drop it after a month.

If I were to list all the interests I had over the years, we'd be here for a while. These days I focus on writing, art, and ice. Don't ask about the last thing, it's highly specific.

Would highly reccommend Java as a first language! C++ is hard at first!

Java is nice because you won't experience any system side weirdness and any issues will be fixable within your own code. It also has the benefit of being a strongly typed language which will transfer well if you decide to learn other languages! It also shares syntax with a lot of other languages which is another help.

It doesn't really matter though. The most important thing is to learn algorithms and big CS concepts like data structures, as opposed to learning technologies. Depth is way more important than breadth as well :)

Because my oldest brother got me into that and every other language is beyond my ability and patience. Last language I made an attempt to learn was C++ and that made me rather take care of a 2 year old child when it came to problem handling.

Never dwell on something that you don't have the answer to. Sometimes it's better to put it down and walk away, coming back with a fresh mindset.

Just don't leave it on the back burner too long or you'll find your thoughts aflame with doubts and regrets.

Popularity is a double-edged sword. If you are then people place you on a pedestal and have expectations of you. Many will judge you harshly for any action you do. You can d 99 good deeds, but the 1 bad one is what everyone remembers.

This is why I prefer infamy because those around me will expect the least and the good I do will go unnoticed yet leave a trail.

Someday you'll understand it. Maybe not today, but eventually.

    What is it?

    You decide.

Not sure if we really needed Minecraft Dungeons, but it's an aRPG based in Minecraft. As someone that adores the genre, that's fine and I could always use more to keep my copy of Grim Dawn and Torchlight company.

It's not new, it's not unique, and it's not over-the-top which is nice. Probably going to be a bunch of comparisons between HyTale and Dungeons to which I say phooie to that nonsense. HyTale is an RPG with action much in the vein of Soul Worker, Kritika, Dauntless, and even Monster Hunter World. I have had enough of those for one lifetime, I haven't even finished the ones I picked up.

That said, looks like my Switch is finally going to get more use now especially with PKMN S&S coming out.
