Just beat "Batman: Arkham Origins" for Xbox 360. I have to say, after beating "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City" on Hard Mode/New Game Plus, it feels great to be able to play the Arkham games on Easy /Normal Mode again.

    The Arkham games? Sure.

    Original series trilogy
    1. Batman: Arkham City
    2. Batman: Arkham Knight
    3. Batman:Arkham Asylum (still a great game in it's own right, I just like the other two a little bit more, but I still love "Arkham Asylum" as well.

    Prequels
    1. Batman: Arkham Origins
    2. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate

Yer previously asocial crowing servant must acknowledge that design college did impact my lifestyle... significantly. Sorry-not sorry:

    - Ninjago stuff is frozen for unknown period of time

    - Revival project will be reformed and will take a more free-flow approach, I realized I can't spend around a month 8h per day just to accurately recreate ONE building as it went with last Bleake island buildings Alpha version had. I really tried to achieve building help back when I had it all in the kitchen but whenever I a task of quality-recreation each person willing to help either tried and immediately abandoned or just tried and disappeared with no results. Do realize it was probably a lot to ask so this is how it happened, this is how the most accurate replica of Arkham GC died. It is also noticeably faster and much more promising to plan and build without 90% attachment to the source, check out this piece o' elegance by the way.
    - One thing though has been revived and I'm looking forward to reveal much more when the time comes, without a single promise it'll happen like in a feverdream

    Hey everyone,

I have had a FANTASTIC WONDERFUL week last week. As you know my best friend and his mom came to visit us. We had the BEST time. They really enjoyed us showing them around our new island home, as well as the shops and the library, collecting sea shells from the beach, eating at the different restaurants, seeing the wildlife and doing a boat tour, where we even saw some dolphins. I think this was their first time seeing dolphins this close up before! Plus we got to hang out at my house, we watched "When Marnie was There" and we played some video games. They had to leave real early Thursday morning, but I could tell they had a great time. They said that maybe in the future, they would consider moving down here, and I would love it if my best friend lived near me!

Mother's Day was also really good. We took our neighbor with us to church, and then afterwards I treated my mom and neighbor to lunch. We then went back to our home, and had Strawberry pie for dessert!
Life has been really good to me lately and the Good Lord has really blessed me. I've been feeling so happy lately and so optimistic, and excited about what the future may hold. My mood and my outlook have really improved, and I've been feeling GREAT!!!
    That's all for now,

    Batman over and out ๐Ÿฆ‡.

    Hey folks,

So last night mom and I went to the theater to see "Goosebumps the Musical: The Phantom of the Auditorium." ๐ŸŽญ

As a Phantom Phan I knew I had to see this, and I'm old enough to remember the Goosebumps TV show as well as the books (The Werewolf of Fever Swamp episode was truly terrifying ๐Ÿ˜จ)

This was one story where I never read the book, and I vaguely remember the TV episode, but overall it was really good.
Basically this school which is rumored to be haunted, was putting on a production of "The Phantom" and strange things start happening during rehearsal, almost as if someone or something is trying to stop the show from happening, especially since rumors say this production is cursed. I won't spoil the ending, but I will say this: The Phantom was real!

All in all there quite a few little Easter eggs and references that I as a Phantom Phan recognized and really loved, and overall it was a really fun night at the theater. We even met up with some friends. Definitely R.L Stine's neat take on "The Phantom of the Opera" story.

    That's all for now.

First of all, thank you Spongie for the notification spam! ๐Ÿ˜€

Secondly while working out with my trainer, I finally got to see the classic Tim Burton movie "Edward Scissorhands." โœ‚๏ธ

I know what ALOT of you are thinking. " He's a huge Tim Burton fan and he's never seen 'Edward Scissorhands?"

Well it was a bit late, but I FINALLY got to see it, and here are my thoughts.

It was another great Tim Burton film that definitely had the gothic vibes and aesthetic that most Tim Burton movies always have, meaning it was a real visual treat.

The music score by Danny Elfman was also really beautiful. Definitely another one of the best scores he's composed.

As for the performances and the actors Johnny Depp was so loveable and innocent as the title character, you couldn't help but feel for him. I definitely feel like I could relate to him being different but also being gifted in being creative and having a unique gift. Winona Ryder was also really good in the film as the love interest. She's definitely one of my favorite actresses, so this was another great performance from her. The relationship between her and Edward (Johnny) kind of reminded me of a "Beauty and the Beast" type love story. Dianne Weist was also really sweet and kind as the saleslady who took Edward in, and Anthony Michael Hall was totally despicable as the villain. Last and certainly not least Vincent Price (one of my favorite old horror movie actors) was also really good as the inventor who made Edward Scissorhands, and was really a kind loving father figure before he passed away. I'm really glad I finally got to see Vincent Price's final film performance.

As for the ending I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it, but it definitely was a bit bittersweet. My mom and I were talking about it, and we agreed that the message was that it was good Edward to have found love, and that the message was "it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."

All in all I thought it was a great film that was very funny and a little bit sad, but definitely a GREAT Tim Burton film. 9/10.

And to think right after this, Tim Burton would make my FAVORITE Batman movie and the BEST Batman film of all time, "Batman Returns" (1992).

That's all my thoughts for now.

    Batman over and out. ๐Ÿฆ‡

    CHANNEL UPDATE - DOWNLOAD LINKS

In a few days I hope to release my next stadium build, and given I feel enough time has passed I now want to address the fact that the download links are no longer available.

Back in February it was brought to my attention that somebody had posted my University of Bolton Stadium build on TikTok and wasn't denying in the comments that the build was theirs, which I interpreted as them in effect taking credit. A similar incident occurred a week later, this time with Ashton Gate.

Now, this is nothing new, and content of mine has been as you say stolen multiple times before; it's also an issue faced by other builders. However, stuff like this is really annoying because of the amount of time and effort I put into these builds as you know, with each one taking months or even years to complete. The style in which I build is also very distinctive compared to other builders, making it a lot easier for me to be able to tell where my work has been claimed by others. As a result of these instances and people claiming my work as their own, I finally took the decision to remove my download links from all sources (YouTube and PMC), thereby preventing anybody from accessing my work.

It's not a decision that I wanted to make, but in this scenario I felt I had no other choice. Of course I'll continue to share my work through my videos and thus hopefully I can get the necessary credit through that medium, but I'm sorry to say that I will not be reinstating the download links for the time being. I will always be evaluating my options as to whether I will restore them or not, and if so what form that will take. Setting up a Patreon has been mooted as an idea but this would mean putting the links essentially behind a paywall.

I know many of you have been messaging me as well as leaving comments as to what happened to the links, and I appreciate that so many of you wanted to download my work, but the fact is it's a case whereby certain individuals have spoiled it for everybody else.

Going forward as I say, I will continue to upload my videos and will of course return to streaming over the summer months, but the downloads will not be returning for the foreseeable.

I hope you all understand and thank you all for the support.

    Cheers,

    Matthew

It's certainly an option on the table, a mate of mine has just done it with his as well. I do worry it may disenfranchise some people from downloading the maps but it may deter those who have designs on then uploading the maps as their own.

I've not made a decision just yet and probably won't for a while, but I'll be keeping all options open and I'll be open to suggestions

Just beat "Batman: Arkham Asylum"๐Ÿฆ‡ for Xbox 360 on Hard mode!

It was DEFINITELY tougher than playing the game on regular difficulty. Like in "Batman: Arkham City" on New Game Plus, enemies were definitely tougher and took ALOT more hits to knock out. Boss fights were also much harder, in fact I'd say the fight with Poison Ivy ๐ŸŒน was tougher than the final fight with Joker ๐Ÿƒ, although that was really hard too, and still took me ALOT of tries to beat.

Bottom line, I'm definitely feeling like a champ right now, ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ†and my advice to you is if any of you want to attempt playing the Batman Arkham games on Hard Mode/New Game Plus, make sure you feel confident in your skills as a player because it WILL be difficult.

Next I'm going to replay "Batman: Arkham Origins" but on Easy/Normal Mode this time.

Just finished watching "Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon." I love how the final two episodes were a shout out/love letter to the very first season because they all went back to the Kanto region.
Most of this series was introduced the characters, the Pokemon and the set up.

Tomorrow I'm going to start watching "Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon Ultra Adventures" which actually goes into actually retelling the events of the game, which I've played in the form of "Pokemon Sun" on the Nintendo 3DS.

    Hey everyone,

Sorry if I haven't been active much lately. Mom and I had to leave for doctor's appointments. (Don't worry, we both got good reports, in fact I lost 3 pounds.)

That, and I've been doing a lot mentally and spiritually to get ready for Holy Week this week. โœ๏ธ

In other news I beat "Batman Arkham City"๐Ÿฆ‡ for Xbox 360 on "New Game Plus"/Hard Mode where basically you can replay the game with all of your gadgets, weapons and upgrades, but enemies will be much tougher, and will take more hits to take out, there's no counter icon letting you know when to dodge or block, meaning you'll have to figure it out on your own, and in stealth missions, enemies will be able to detect you hiding place a lot easier, and boss fights will be tougher too.

Which makes me wonder: am I as skilled as Batman๐Ÿฆ‡ or am I as crazy as the Joker ๐Ÿƒto be able to play and beat the game on it's hardest difficulty mode? I'll let you answer in the comments below.

I'm off to play"Batman Arkham Asylum" on Hard Mode, and then "Arkham Origins" and Arkham Knight."

So yesterday was my mom's birthday, and we had a great day! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ

Yesterday morning I read to the kids at the Island Library, which was nice. The kids and their parents thanked me (which felt so rewarding).

Then I treated mom to some jewelry at the Island Jewelry store, and I bought mom a delicious ice cream birthday cake for her from the Island Creamery.

To close the day off, we went out for dinner with one of our new neighbors, drove around the island a little bit, and then came back home.

All in all yesterday was a great day! โ˜บ๏ธ

Yep they brought out Colm Wilkinson (the original Jean Valjean) Rebecca Caine (the original Cosette in London) as well as Michael Ball (Marius). Colm Wilkinson and another singer named Jon Owen Jones plus two other actors who played Valjean did a beautiful reprise of Valjean's song "Bring Him Home." It was SO good I thought I was listening to angels singing.

Ironically all of these performers would also be in later productions of "Phantom of the Opera."

The 80s were THE times for musical theater because in 1981 we got "Cats", in 1985 we got"Les Miserables" and in 1986 we got" Phantom."

I'm just so glad I got to see this on TV.
