There's been an enhanced vanilla resource pack that we made with an old friend that's been on the back burner for more than a year. It's been so long, we no longer remember their username. That resource pack is now canceled. We haven't worked on a true full resource pack in a while, but that doesn't mean we are leaving PMC. Thank you for your understanding and continued support for Team UNNAMED.

poll Poll : What's your go-to first night strategy?
Mojang added surface sulfur caves. Was worried that they weren’t gonna add sulfur lake biomes, would’ve been a real missed opportunity, but now it’s kind of here! Good on you, Mojang.
Been feeling unmotivated to make new big content for a while now. Find it really hard to come up with new textures I'm satisfied with (unrelated to me not having arms). We're still here, but it might be a while until our next pack. Should I do more with the programmer art style or do something more original? Maybe try making custom mob models? Eh, I'll figure it out.
And you know we're still gonna that Dungeons II pack as soon as the assets are available. Have been wanting to a pack that ports the textures from 15 Year Journey for over 2 years actually, just never got the exported textures. Or maybe make some original textures based on those textures? Oh well, uh I don't know how to end this post, bye
Stuff that works for me most the time - just collect reference/inspiration images and then make some semi-unrelated things from the main project. Gotta turn the small gears before turning the big wheel
Oh yeah, the spring updates were probably being worked on a year in advance since we got falling pale leaves in garden awakens and low res baby nautilus in mounts of mayhem
How do [insert agreeable pronoun] feel about the Tiny Takeover game drop? It's fine, no one asked for it, but honestly it's just an evil scheme from Mojang/Microslop to sell more merchandise instead of adding epic and quality of life changes/additions. (DGMW, they do add epic and QoL changes/additions.) Last spring we got Spring to Life (unarguably the worst update Minecraft ever received) which brought falling/fallen leaves, bushes, dry grass, and cactus flowers. The Minecraft forests used to be iconic and deserts barren, but now there's just clusters of clutter and foliage everywhere. Now they're continuing this "remove old Minecraft environment" trend with this year's Spring drop. And they do this for no reason. Luckily the Summer drop Chaos Cubed seems more promising, finally adding more blocks and a really weird slime that is passive and bounces a lot. Don't seem much use out of this guy, unless they allow putting shulker boxes in it (as of now it is TBC). Why do we make our posts so long now? For now let's hope Mojang has big stuff for us in the near future and continue waiting patiently for an End update.
TL;DR: the percentage of the Tiny Takeover that isn't cute corporate marketableness is also the percentage of people who asked.
Here we are in the year of our lord 2026 (half a decade since people started asking for an end update), yet it has never appeared. Your "planned years ahead" theory is utter nonsense.
Mojang rarely adds stuff that is "demanded" by the community. Whats gets added, is planned years ahead and only adjusted to the feedback, but not what the community demanded over the past weeks or months.
The seemingly lacking feature content progression aside, Mojang is (imo) doing a bad job at communicating the technical and minor changes, that are taking place. Light engine, chunk/ world gen, rendering, core changes to enable datadriven Datapacks, all been or being reworked in the past updates constantly.
Despite the annoyingly short Minecraft Live March 2026, the next game drop Chaos Cubed seems really promising.
And we have a dungeons sequel this year, you know we’re gonna make a new resource pack that ports the textures to the main game as soon as we get our filthy little paws on them.
Couldn't log on to PMC for a while. Don't exactly know why, but we're back!
Currently working on Vintage by RedPierrePacks. Haven't done much in a while, possibly because of burnout or a lack of motivation. Won't be leaving the platform anytime soon, this year we'd like to learn Blockbench modeling and make more resource packs for Optifine/mods.
Also we just realized, they updated the baby mobs to be pixel consistent but to this day the little slimes haven't been updated. D:
Currently production on the vanilla plus pack is at a snail's pace. It feels really hard to get this right, considering on releasing the pack as it is now. Might not tho.
Also we have some other projects on the back burner right now, so we might get to those in the near future
