Expanded view is available on all Player and Mob Skins allowing you to soak in every glorious pixel.

Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:

• The download button disappears from the page
• The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
• Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only

This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

Added the ability to download the skin animations in .gif or .mp4 format so you can actually share it properly on X / Reddit and beyond!

Choose your background, animation or pose and hit the button at the precise moment to capture a bullet time 3D rotation shareable snapshot for personal or promotional reasons. Get your skins or your favorite skins into a downloadable or wall postable or social shareable format with little to no effort. Works on player skins and mob skins... Let's spin!

Hey guys! It’s almost Skinfight season again, and I’ve got some news to share with everyone.

As you probably know, we haven’t been on top of our scoring game and to be transparent, while the event is super fun, it does take a toll on the staff team. Additionally, we’ve lost a key member of the team recently and things behind the scenes are kinda unsure.

This takes me to my first question. Do you want Skinfight to continue? I’d love to see the general consensus about the event overall.

Additionally, if we want Skinfight to continue, I have been considering moving to a custom built website for the event. The problem? It’s going to cost a LOT of money, but it would streamline everything (ie like artfight). This is a monumental task and would be done next year, but I would be asking for donations. Would anyone be interested in a Kickstarter/donating/gofundme? Donating would ensure extra perks.

Overall, I want to involve the community in the Skinfight discussion, as you are the heart and soul of this event.

This is a big win for Human Creatives!

As a PMCer who mainly has contributed to the PMC community through art and the art community. (fanart, fancomics, etc etc) This issue is near and dear to me, and I couldnt be prouder of what this community is doing. Its like ive always said, PMC is a really special place. The mod team all does a lot to keep it all running, but the heart of our community is you guys, so thanks again, and keep on creating!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great April Fools' Day :D

As mentioned earlier, I do have a special announcement to make! (Drumroll, please!) I'm opening up my commissions next week!! I spent a great amount of time working on my Carrd page, and things are looking very good as of now! If you are interested in commissioning me, be on the lookout on April 8! Currently, I have two categories to choose from. For the first under pixel art, I have 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, and 128x128. For the second under Minecraft skins, I can make java mob skins, java outfit bases, java player skins, and Bedrock skins.
