Edicine What camera u using?? So sharp
Yuki • 2026-10-05 15:12:08

Canon R5 with the 85mm f2 macro, shot at 1/500s, f4.5 and ISO200. This is also cropped in a slight bit, so 33mp down from the 45mp native size of the camera.

hey-hey all,

regarding some recently-deleted posts, please be mindful that the staff team is all for showing love and support for others. we want you guys to be there for one another, and recognize the value in having a community you can fall back on for reassurance through highs, but especially through lows.

but, we also need to be mindful of how we communicate our support for others. it's easy to fall into some bad habits that can, maybe counterintuitively, hurt more than they help. that's not to say that the term "suicide" is forbidden. i know it's a touchy subject, and the word itself kind of sticks to the roof of your mouth, but september is suicide prevention awareness month and it's good to be up front, and to use the proper term for this particular type of crisis scenario.

the problem (if you can call it that, but i don't think of it as a "problem" so much as a "misunderstanding") isn't that you guys are trying to help, or that your vocabulary is crass or offensive. please know that. i love that you guys help each other through rough patches.

our team is just worried for the possibility that users may feel pressure to act as crisis councilors, as opposed to as friends or those who would like to show support. this kind of pressure can have a negative effect on other peoples' mental health, especially in those individuals who do not have professional training in crisis counseling.

if you feel a fellow PMC user is in genuine crisis, that is, you believe they're in danger of harming themselves and/or others, please contact our team before you contact anyone else. report the comment/wallpost/forums post, or else make a private ticket and/or send a private message to our team. we regularly connect people with resources for help.

if you have any questions, please reach out to me or create a support ticket. Below are a couple of resources for those experiencing suicidal ideation or who are otherwise in crisis

https://988lifeline.org/ call, text, or chat with crisis counselors 24/7
https://www.thetrevorproject.org/get-help/ call text, or chat with crisis counselors 24/7

Aye, small update here. Good news, I am still alive! And I have been working on a side project, still same project but now I am using it in everyday so I don't have to use separated tools like Miro, Notion, and Google Slides. It's still version 0, a lot more to do but the moment is strong. No promise when it will be finished. And I've just realized one thing that Wellandel's ambition to make 20-years-long story like One Piece manga was actually a seed that paved the way to what I have been working on. And the data engine that I spent 5 years researching finally start to make a shape. It's still 1% completed but you know what, once it is finished, we could run a MMORPG in open world that has no ending story. Sometimes game progress means nothing because you just want a quiet space to enjoy the sunlight and winds moving through green grass and a horse laying on your lap.. and to me.. this is where I could sit for hours doing nothing and see people from a distance hunting down monsters.

It will be a game with no story because how you interact with the world is the story. :)
Stay strong guys, we will reunite again someday.

P.s. That data engine is called as "DAD" for short.

guineafish • 2026-07-10 09:43:13

Indeed, I watched pretty almost the entire thing and it was peak. Yuki is scary with the paints, but it's also magical how he put paints down and kinda just knew what to do. It's also fun to see how the layers of paint and colors start adding up into whats now the finished piece :D Plus it's always fun seeing an artist actively working on their art, you get to see their gears turning whilst producing what they do
Truly a great bust paint job!

Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:
- The download button disappears from the page
- The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
- Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only
This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

Wait, are you seeing this? I can't see anything
We've escaped our cards!

You can now use the collective 330k+ opened CFT characters directly in posts, content, threads, widgets and replies using the new CFT button in the editor toolbar.

Any CFT you've liked will appear in the dialog for easy access. We're not locking them to ownership, creativity needs freedom. Be free.

It's time to PARTY!c.r.e.a.t.e.

✦ What are we here for? ✦
- To narrate your content or profile pages!
- Tell a story with a character lineup alternating speech bubbles
- React to a creative post with even more creativity than they expected
- Show off your latest rare pull from the CFT shop
- Bring us to life and make us famous
- plus pizza
In the big scheme of things, it's just another way to be creative on PMC. Have fun!

It doesn't need to be deeper than that.

rose_bushes_ did the base head template and default "parts" for our Discord emojis, recently added as reactions. I did the pixel art for the huge variety of parts that are not on our emoji set back when coding the original CFT april fools joke in 2023. Think there's around 35 different eyes and that's just one for 14 different layers. Ultimately the CFT system is generating them by rolling random parts for each layer and that logic was setup by Paril

When you have one of those friendships where you can just sit and chat for hours, from serious topics to comforting your friend to giggling about absolute nonsense without skipping a beat and then all of a sudden it's 21 hours later and you're still on a call and could keep going for even longer? That's true wealth in life, nothing compares to it.

You know who you are.
