I believe its about time for our monthly challenges. This month we'll be focusing on a variety of different things. Verses last time we did challenges that mainly centered around you helping you grow, verses the challenges prior were focused on getting out of your comfort zone to help others. So without further ado ~ Lets get to it!
In real life challenges: For the rest of the month try getting out in nature by yourself at least every day of this month. (Or what we have left of it x,D) star Try inviting a friend out even if its just as simple as getting tea (I'm not meaning like dating, just going and getting some quality time with the friends you don't hang out with as much) starstar Make some goals for the summer of something you've wanted to do, but just haven't really had the time to do so. Where that is trying to learn another language, painting, taking up and new hobby anything like that. star
Online challenges: Find 1 or two (Or more if you'd like) Newer people on this site who need help and take them under your wing. starstar Guest book or pm two people dear to you how much your appreciate them. star Try posting at least 2-5 fanskins this month starstarstar

I know in this culture singleness is in many people's minds is almost like a disease. Like if you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend you begin to think 'Is there something wrong with me?'
I want to tell you no. No, there is nothing wrong with you. Honestly. Culture has put such a huge emphasis on dating. Like you have to date, if you haven't ever dated before your so weird. But, let me tell you the truth. You don't have to date to be important or to have a purpose. So many people fall into thinking that if no one likes them they aren't important and have no meaning.
If your thinking that STOP. You have a meaning and a purpose. You do. I don't just think so, just the fact that your here and alive on this earth and reading this proves that. You have a purpose, you might not know it right now, but you do.
But, you can't derive who you are or your worth out of if someone likes you or if your dating someone.
I know I'm kind of falling off topic, but honestly I really really want what is best for you.
I think singleness is almost a blessing in disguise. You can do so many things right now that someday when you meet that person you won't be able to do as easily. Now is your time to try new things, find out more of who you are, make new friends, create new habits. So that when you meet that person you'll be entirely ready and prepared. I know this is kind of a big topic.
But, wait. You have no idea how much waiting helps with your character. Than in the end it will be entirely worth it. Trust me. :)
Edit: I'm not saying you shouldn't get married or when you get married you loose your freedom. What I'm saying is far from that. I believe very strongly that dating isn’t just this thing were "Oh there's a cute guy." I wanna date him. Or vice versa. I believe dating is a period in a deep friendship between two people who are in hopes to get married. Not just something you do for fun and when someone 'better' comes around you drop them or when they're no longer 'fun' This post is an encouragement for those who are single and haven't found that person who they're meant to be with. To tell you to use your single years for good so when you meet them you both can reach people and goals together. :)
Good point I don't feel like dating anyone, I need too much freedom and distance for it. I'm also questioning if I'm aromantic, I don't really 'like' anyone in that way and I'm fine with it. However, some people call me immature because of it and complain that I should seek for a boyfriend (my family does it a lot)
