Project Updates!

As I work on my main project, I have decided to start a new secondary project where I build these little cruise ships from Chandris. The ships are: BON VIVANT, CARINA, FANTASIA, FIESTA, FIORITA, ROMANTICA, and RADIOSA. They will have about 60-70% of their interior complete due to the lack of complete GAs, but I will try my best to include as much passenger spaces as I can. Crew spaces however might be limited to certain areas for these ships.

Anyways, the first of these little Chandris ships is the Bon Vivant which is coming very soon! So stay on the lookout on my page when it releases!

Have this new project coming up, the RMS Columba. My paddle steamers are getting loooonger and loooonger but im very proud of it! But wanna post when chunky is fully updated

It's been ages but i might decide to post again. Currently working on a new project, SS Connaught (1860) after acquiring the plans. Anyone know that one renderring software with the really dramatic waves?

Gonna try out this change with my PMC submission thumbnails. Whenever I release a secondary project or ship without an interior, the logo on the top left will have Silver stripe instead of the usual gold. Whereas the main flagship builds will stay the same and have the Gold stripe. I figure that can be an easier way to distinguish which builds have interior and which ones don't. And if in the future a secondary build receives a significant update worthy of "flagship" then the stripe will be upgraded to gold! We'll see how this change does going forward.

My next Flagship build is almost here! Meet the Empress of Canada! She is built in 1.5:1 scale and comes with a full interior to explore and a bonus variant: Green "CP Ships" Livery (cosmetic only change). Be on the lookout soon when it releases!

🍂 Design an NPC for the Fall Festival! 🎃

Help bring our upcoming October in-game event to life by creating a festive NPC skin! Think scarecrow farmers, pie vendors, wandering storytellers, anyone you'd meet at a cozy Fall celebration. Give them a name, a location in the festival, and maybe even a few fun lines of dialog. Your creation could become part of the festival world!

I have an interesting shake up for my builds. Up until recently, I've only had one main project that I am working on and as I look at my catalog I know I can redo some ships (At least the ones I don't plan on having interior). It'll be a nice secondary project while I work on my main stuff and since they'll be exterior only, they'll come out hopefully more often.

So what I'm thinking is rebuilding ships that I for sure won't add any interior and leave them as exterior models; replacing the previous submissions. Plus there's always a chance for supplemental versions as well.

That's what I'm thinking, plus it'll be interesting to see the comparisons before and after.

MS ACHILLE LAURO Preview!
Coming soon is the Achille Lauro! There will be two versions of the map. Map 1 is her original 1965 "as built" form and Map 2 is her final 1994 version before she sank (with appropriate interior changes). Be on the lookout for the release soon!

A new ship is on the horizon, but before the release I wanted to be transparent about my older builds. MS Willem Ruys was the start of a new era for me in shipbuilding with so many improvements being made and the culmination of what I've learned and experienced throughout shipbuilding. But to get to that point, I have to recognize my own shortcomings of my older builds. So I went back and I updated all the descriptions of my older builds recognizing that yeah the scale I built them in is flawed and they're missing cabins, engine rooms, and crew spaces. And I also changed the Completion Bar percentage to reflect the completion state of that build. With recognizing those shortcomings, that opens an opportunity to improve and rebuild those old ships bigger and better!

So going forward all future builds will just keep being improved and being better in quality. We only go up from here. And the next set of Ships will be a call back to my first ships I've ever built in Minecraft! So that will be super exciting to see the evolution. Anyways folks that's all from me. MV WILLEM RUYS Preview!
Coming tomorrow (Wednesday April 2) is the MV Willem Ruys! This build is the start of a new era for me in shipbuilding. She is built in a modest 1.5:1 scale and requires no texture pack! Additionally she is fully furnished with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Class Public spaces and Passenger Cabins and Suites. She is fully explorable and is my best work to date.

Soon to follow is Refit version of Willem Ruys as a seperate map release, and later on her conversion to MS ACHILLE LAURO! Be on the lookout for those new releases and keep an eye on my page for updates!
