Now that Guts has taught them the history of Shiver Island, IGEBM, Si, and Storm are remaining ever vigilant during their stay on the island. They've made a plan to build a boat and leave on the 31st, and today, they're gathering materials.
Si walks through the woods, pushing a cart, accompanied by IGEBM, who is carrying an axe, as they go around chopping down trees to get wood to build a boat. "Are you excited to finally get off of this island?" Si asks as IGE starts to hit a tree with the axe. "Yeah." IGE responds, before grunting. "It's been an... interesting stay." Si starts to talk to him so the tree-chopping isn't quiet and awkward. However, IGE isn't paying attention, nor is he continuing to chop, because his eyes and mind are focused on a cloaked figure with glowing teal eyes watching them from behind a tree. "What is it?" Si asks. IGE points towards the figure. "I saw that guy yesterday when I was climbing down the ladder to tell you guys the signal antennae had been damaged." he explains. "I don't know who they are or what they want, but they're creeping me out." "Let's just chop down this tree." Si says. "Maybe they'll leave us alone." IGE nods and continues chopping down the tree.
Not too long after, while they make their way home, Storm works on a good way to construct the raft in his room. He looks up at the window at one point while drawing and sees the cloaked figure staring up at the window towards him.. "Who's that?" he wonders aloud to himself. The tech expert quickly opens the window and sticks his head out. "Hey, you there!" he calls. "Who are you?" The being suddenly takes cover behind a tree. Storm closes the window and runs downstairs, going around the house to where the figure stood. He checks behind the trees, but finds no trace of it.
When IGE and Si return, Storm is in the living room, trying to figure out who that could have been, chalking it up to just being a ghost. "Hey, could you help us bring this wood inside?" IGE asks as he opens the door. Si is standing outside with a cart full of wood. IGE sets the axe on the ground next to the door and breathes a sigh of relief, as it was heavy and his arms are now sore. "Sure." Storm responds, getting up from the couch to help his friends unload the cart. "Did you guys happen to see a guy with two glowing teal eyes and a black robe?" "Actually, we did." Si answers. "IGE spotted them watching us from a tree while we chopped wood." "Why do you ask?" IGE adds. "I was in the room drawing a schematic for the boat when I saw them watching me." Storm explains. "I opened the window and called to them, but they just hid behind a tree. I went down to area where they were and couldn't find any trace of them. I think it's just a ghost." "Same." IGE says. "Let's get to building this boat!"

The Final Act has begun!
I've decided to dub the last 6 days - as well as the final story arc of sorts - of Mansion of Shivers "The Final Act." To compliment this, an altered cover template (which was previously used for the advertisement for it) is now being used for the covers of the final chapters. There aren't any big changes, just that the cloaked figure in the bottom right corner now has two glowing eyes and there's a box with the words "The Final Act" next to the "PMC." I have a feeling it's obvious who this guy is, but who do y'all think the cloaked figure is, based on the cover of this chapter (there's one obvious thing that's shown twice on it) and the plots of the later chapters? Leave your guess in the comments. (Cue everyone commenting the same thing because this isn't a hard mystery to solve.)
