Early in the morning yesterday (as in a few minutes after midnight), IGEBM, Si, and Storm discovered a cult consisting of Mr. Shiver, the Ferryman, the Axecutioner, and Martin Helsyth. While the cult seemed a bit hostile, Shiver let them go home.

Storm walks down the stairs into the living room/foyer. When he gets downstairs, however, he finds an eerie guest: Mr. Shiver! "Hello, Storm." the spirit says, sitting calmly on one of the couches around the coffee table. "Uh... hi?" Storm responds, nervous and scared. "Guys, can you come downstairs?" "I was about to ask you to call them down." Shiver says. "This is something I must speak to you all about." IGEBM and Si rush downstairs and see him sitting on the couch. "I would ask what you're doing here, but this is your house, so..." IGE trails off. "Sit down, all of you." the ghost tells them. "I have to talk to you about something." IGE, Si, and Storm nervously sit down on the couch across from the one Shiver is on.

"Have you ever heard of the Ritual of Heavenly Ascension?" he begins. "Yeah, I read about it in a book by Sitan LaVey." Storm answers. "Ah yes, Sitan LaVey." Shiver says. "What a visionary... oh, right, the ritual! If you've read his book, then you probably know that it requires a sacrifice." "I don't like where this is going." Si whispers to IGE. "Me neither." IGE whispers back. "Normally, I only have one guest come, but this year, I was convinced by Davey to invite three." Shiver continues. "After years of soul gathering, the ritual preparations are finally complete, so, in short, who would be willing to be sacrificed?" "What the actual Hell is wrong with you?" IGE asks, very surprised at their host's question. "You really think any of us want to die?!"

"Calm down, IGE." Si says. "No!" IGE responds, before turning back to Mr. Shiver. "What kind of sick madman do you have to be to ask someone if they want to be sacrificed for him? You, clearly! We've all worked too hard in our lives to just throw them away to allow some ghost we only met yesterday to go to the afterlife!" "I had a feeling this would happen." Shiver mutters to himself. He looks up at the trio, his two glowing teal eyes staring creepily at them. "Very well. I guess I'll leave you be for the next few days. Goodbye." He gets up and walks through the door, presumably heading back to the cave where IGE, Si, and Storm found him. "I have a bad feeling that that's not the last we'll see of him..." Storm comments.
