Sorry for barely checking out everyone's stuff. Just as my brain rot, or whatever it was, healed, I got sick! I already had an allergy last weekend! Just as I was ready to start writing, drawing etc. I'm once again sick, and once again, my days off are ruined. All I got to do in, like, 2 weeks, is some experimenting with my current lineart and a couple of additional thoughts on the plot and stuff.

If I get better soon, maybe I'll still have some time, but I'm so damn disappointed about how the only holidays we have after the winter ones have turned into helldays for me.

I promise to catch up and maybe even post something, but right now I'm dying of pain. Bye bye 🤫🧏

My brain's broken, I think.

I haven't been doing anything this week (it's almost Thursday, I didn't do a thing after Saturday). Literally. Just watching YouTube and even that I can barely do, 'cause my attention span has decreased to that of a TikTok addict for some reason. I had so much time and I didn't do a thing for my stuff, nor did I do anything studying-related. All I want to do is to sleep and that's it. A фucking curse or something.

Guess I'll have to fill a "head replacement form".

Been testing some new ibis brushes I yoinked from the net + designed another faction uniform.

Turned out well, not exactly as I imagined them looking, but it's probably because of the overcoat. Not sure if I'll stick to this artstyle, probably not. I think it will do for designing purposes tho.

This uniform is more reminiscent of the uniform of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the WWI. Especially the cap.

First time my uniform actually looks like something irl (ig that's what happens when you take military references)

Btw, I experimented a bit more with coloring and... this looks more interesting I guess?

I think I won't be posting any more characters for now, I got the general feeling of Sophia's crew and that's practically all I needed. I really need to focus on the general plot now and I *REALLY NEED* to start making notes — it's nigh impossible to visualize the plot chain right now. It's all messed up.

I was 10 days sick; i don't know if it was corona or influenza...I don't left my bed and don't had see a doctor. I feel better and i think Tea was the best i did to cure myself...Okay, i'm back for a while...

Decided to expirement with coloring for a change. Sorry, the whole thing's in low resolution.

I think I'm going to be less and less active online. 4 weeks turn into 1, and I just can't keep up. I'm also thinking about leaving this website altogether, but I probably won't for now (no explanations).

I'm reading Wuthering Heights rn, and I can confidently say that the place demonstrating hell itself truly is... England. The memes were right dammit.

I also haven't slept in 23 hours, so I'll probably pass out soon. It's just that the book is interesting and I also went to hang out with my old friends for the first time in half a year. I'll try to post something if I'll still have time this weekend.

My father died today. Or maybe it was yesterday. I barely knew him, except for his addictions, so the only thing this means to me is that I'll be getting a benefit every month for the next three years.

I've been down mentally for quite some time, my heart's been aching badly for the last three days, and the lack of sleep doesn't do me any good either.

I've spent most of the free time I had to rest. I planned to post this much earlier. Here's a sketch of yet another character:

Oh I do get checks. Right now the diagnosis is nothing serious. Not that it helps the pain. Been like that from less than 10 y/o, didn't get better, didn't get worse.

Still designing Sophia's old buddies. I have some extra time this week, so I hope to make more progress (maybe even worldbuild a bit for fun, hopefully).

This character has a story purpose and some connection to other characters. That's all I know about her (I usually give characters names after they're complete, so I can pick meaningful ones, call her whatever for now, ig). Despite literally being a sacrificial lamb for story purposes, I still need to work on her and, most importantly, the whole point of why she is in the story.

At this point I just hope that: 1) the plot turns out well (it probably will); 2) I don't ruin everything with my shitty writing (I probably will >:p ).

Wasn't working on anything for more than a week, because college sucks ass.

Anyway, here's Andrei. My plot has a bunch of blurry stuff, so I'm kinda working on that by expanding on Sophia's past. I'll probably post some other characters soon.

I've also been having the urge to work on my mc maps, but my laptop is still dead, so I need to cope somehow.

That's the same guy from here btw.

I don't think I can give you a short answer, so here's a brief bio:

He and his younger brother were on the path of being musicians right from their childhood, however Andrei soon had to join the local army (as he thought it was the best option to provide them with means of living). His brother understood very well that Andrei does this for them to see a better tomorrow, and he wanted Andrei to understand that he cares about him too. Despite the older brother's protest, both Melnikovs were now carrying rifles. Not much time had passed before they were caught up in a meat grinder, that being a civil war. This event led to their farewell.

Andrei then joined a group of "explorers", whose leader was searching for an artifact that could fulfill people's sincerest wishes. He was one of Sophia's (the woman I drew before) "friends". Well, Sophia didn't like him that much because of his ramblings and that one "prank", though. One day the group fell apart and no one heard anything about Melnikov ever since.

Like I said, the plot is still blurry, so a lot of this might change in the end. Sorry if you wanted a shorter description.
