    my fave part of remaking old skins is trying 2 squeeze more personality/detail into the face... i feel like it's the part of the skin u can express urself thru the most and the combination of all the traits and how theyre put together can really make a skin feel unique to that artist (eyes high or low? eyebrow/lash shape? eye size? 2x2? 1x1? bigger?)

    i redid my micolash recently and im rlly happy with how it turned out cause i got a little more experimental with the face and i think it looks way more like him than it did b4!!!

    i love to update skins without doing an update log entry so nobody realizes ive updated the skin until days/months/years later . . . it's like leaving behind little presents or easter eggs

    i did these three this month!! they're ones i wasn't really happy with WHEN they were posted so getting to update them x many years later once ive developed my skillset more is soopa satisfying

    as always, please be kind, respectful, and empathetic towards others!! PMC is a safe-space for the queer community and june is a special month for a lot of gender/sexual minorities. keep on making people feel welcome! our community is super fortunate to be a place for people to find themselves and to be comfortable being who they are in an environment free from the judgement they might face in their lives offline.

    and remember! pride's for everyone -- even those whom don't necessarily identify with any queer labels -- you can still participate by celebrating others and their expressions of themselves, involving yourself with the community, and by learning about the culture surrounding pride and those who celebrate it! PRIDE YOURSELF on being open-minded, caring and supportive!

    a reminder for everyone,

    regardless of how the US pres election shakes out, PMC is and will continue to be a safe space for people from all walks of life, of all genders, sexualities, races, and beliefs. we're our own private community with our own private policies in place to protect our members -- policies which will always put you guys' safety and comfort before anything else.

    please navigate the next few days with a little extra care, be good to each other, and know that whoever wins, it's going to be a sore spot for a lot of people out there. don't poke fun at others.

    Echoing Silabear's post, please do not hesitate to message a staff member if you have any concerns whatsoever about anything. It could be an uncomfortable feeling you get from another member, worries that someone you know is being mistreated, or the belief that prior communications with the staff were ineffective or unfair. We listen to each and every message we receive, and if possible, we try to help. If we can't, we can direct you to someone who can.

    To that end, every single member of our team is an individual with a different background and their own strengths and weaknesses. Some of us are super good at finding the proverbial needle in a haystack when it comes to tracing stolen content, other members of our team are really, really good at listening and offering guidance if you're feeling crappy that day. If you message one of us and don't receive satisfactory help, consider messaging a different, potentially higher-ranked staff member.

    We want to help you. It's our responsibility to do that. This is our community to be proud of. I don't want anyone to feel as if they can't trust the people on our team.

    But please -- help us help you. We can't act on things we don't know about. We need your reports and for you to voice your concerns to us if something feels off. We do not -- and cannot -- have the ability to have eyes on everything all at once. If you have evidence of someone trying to hurt you or other members of the community, please bring it to us.

    Lastly, understand that there are ways to protect yourself. Like Silabear pointed out -- the block function is a powerful tool that can and should be used to undermine other users' attempts to hurt you. You are encouraged to use the block function in conjunction with the report function. If you feel that the problem extends beyond PMC or is of a particularly serious nature, be aware of your right to contact relevant law enforcement.

    My sympathies go out to anyone who has been negatively affected by recent events. It's a bad situation for everyone involved and should not have happened in the first place.

    Please, please, please do not hesitate to message me or another staff member if someone is using our site's private messaging system in such a way as to make you uncomfortable. You have every right to use our site without being subject to private messages that make you feel unsafe or uneasy. You should never feel pressured into not speaking up.

    Every private message chain has a block and report button underneath that allows you to quickly and easily block communications with a specific user, and (if you choose to) submit a report to the administrators so that they can investigate any relevant message chains and act in your best interest to keep you safe. If you'd rather talk about the situation with a site moderator, we can also forward your concerns to the admins (with your permission). Reporting a user through their profile will also put the situation on our radar so the team -- as a whole -- can put energy into investigating the situation for you.

    If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

    As a funfact: There was a case of a stalker, the guy kept creating accounts to harras the victim. At the end Cyprezz locked the ability for 1 levellers of contacting the victim.

    If anyone is harrassing you, report the guy. You can prevent a lot of damage or further victims

    I’d like to add on and say that all conversations are private and us moderators can’t ever see them unless you screenshot the chat. Only the admins can check the contents of PMs, and even then it’s only ever used very rarely when we think there’s a genuine concern for another member’s safety. Even if we suspect that something fishy is happening in PMs, we won’t check. You don’t need to worry about any spying or moderating based on PM content unless we have a genuine reason to do so.

    that being said, this does mean that when you report a PM thread, we can’t view the messages or context, so in the report you should screenshot the chat or mention to us that it’s in xyz pms with xyz person.

    (the exception is the live PMC chat where all staff can check private PMs again only if it’s necessary)

    Hi all,

    In light of a persistent theme seen in wall posts, comment sections, and guest books that has recently flared up, I'd like to remind everyone that Planet Minecraft is a vibrant community, and home to people from all walks of life. That means we should all strive to be inclusive, and to respect each others' identities. We're all here because of a unified interest in Minecraft, gaming, or maybe just to be a part of the community (which is, by and large, wonderful.) In any case, inflammatory behavior hurts our community, and it hurts the people behind the screen, too.

    There may be times where you feel like your beliefs and the beliefs/identity of someone else are at odds, and I can't personally change that, but I'm asking everyone to put aside those differences and treat your fellow members like humans, that is, with kindness and without prejudice -- spoken or unspoken.

    Everyone has a right to be proud of who they are, regardless of their faith, sexuality, ethnicity, or gender identity, as long as they're not harming others. Please remember this before posting content that directly or indirectly antagonizes anyone for the way they present themselves on PMC, or anywhere else in life.
