Today I have given the Language Pack and Hardcore version of BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack their own PMC pages! I decided to split these off to their own pages to reduce the clutter on the main page and also so I can more clearly explain how they work on their own pages. They will also receive their individual changelogs there instead.

Oh hey, 1.17 is out. Awesome.

I'm probably going to have the new Haven update ready for tomorrow. Optifine released a preview version for 1.17pre-4 the other day and I've been going through and making sure things work (also sneaking in some last minute additions.)

I also need to take some time to make sure the bedrock port works since I decided to wait for the update to come out first before testing instead of testing it on the bedrock betas.

Not much longer now!

Been working on coral textures! Wanted to try adjusting the coral block color palette so it's more cohesive as well.

In case it wasn't obvious, BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack 2 - which I released the other day - was an April Fools joke.

The OG and real BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack will continue to receive alpha builds and updates as per normal. There probably won't be one with new goat advancements until next snapshot (since goats kind of feel unfinished in the current snapshot... I mean, they can't even charge yet).

I will still leave BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack 2 available for download as well as the trailer - I had great fun putting all those together and hopefully y'all had as much fun as I did checking it out!

Happy Wednesday! This is just a mid week reminder that there's still time to create an entry into the Maze Making Contest! ALL Skill levels are encouraged to give it a shot! You can have a completed entry in just under a few hours, since the machine does a lot of the heavy work for you!

Okay! What do I do?
1. Download the Maze Maker Deluxe. This starter map contains templates - the elements that will compose your maze.
Build your walls, corridors, traps, challenges and more! Easy peasy.

2. Draw the maze layout in the provided map chests.

3. Compile the maze by pressing the button!

4. Submit your entry!

It's seriously been almost a year since I last updated Haven and I have no idea where the time went. It still feels like I posted it a couple weeks ago. I completely dropped the ball on the Bedrock port as well. (But apparently Bedrock supports custom block models now, so that's really exciting).

I don't have an ETA on anything honestly. I haven't forgotten about my packs and I want to keep working on them but I'm just so low on energy lately. I started crashing a lot more when December rolled around, and lately I kind of just end up finishing one or two major tasks a day and leaving it at that, because I can't concentrate well enough on anything. It's really frustrating.

I was excited to finally finish the overhaul to Player Villagers and get that out back in October, but then for some reason the pack would randomly break for people?? Like files in the pack would randomly get deleted, either during download, or after restarting minecraft with the pack active. I don't experience the problem myself, and I can't replicate it either, it's happening to way too many people for me to ignore it, and I have no idea what's causing it in the first place. It was just. Really demotivating to have all that work kind of fall apart on you, and I don't have many solutions that I can offer people aside from just redownloading the pack or reinstalling optifine/minecraft.

I'm not writing this up for pity or anything. I'll be fine in the end, and you don't have to worry. I just wanted to explain where my headspace is at and why I've been so inconsistent. I'll manage in the end, but real life and managing myself has to take priority for the time being.

Who's familiar with Advent Calendars? They're quite fun if you ask us, and a great way to kick off and celebrate the month of December! Did you know they date back to 19th century in Germany? The first one was made in 1851!

Advent calendars are a special calendar used to count the days until Christmas. Some are 24 days, some are longer, counting down the days until the New Year. The point is, every day of December you get a treat. Modern days you can find Advent Calendars of various themes ranging from different chocolates to different toys.

We're telling you this because now, you can have your very own in Minecraft! Every day of December, you can get yourself some free items using the Advent Calendar data pack Bertiecrafter made here! Higher tiered treats are included around Christmas and New Year's Eve. How cool!

Who's ready for and EPIC FIREWORKS show?!

Show starts at approximately 4PM (about 15 minutes from now)! We will wait a few minutes to give everyone a chance to join in. Afterwards, we will gather for a group photo so be sure to stick around!

The information for the Hypixel meet up has been posted! Remember, there will be just 1 group in the first hour; in the following hours there will be 2 groups for optimal participation!

We also launched the Papercraft Photography Competition. It will run for the entire month! We added some accessories to Paper Craft so you can decorate and create really cool scenes. We encourage you to use them!

In addition, we've added a GROUP PHOTO to our schedule, to be held after the fireworks at 4PM EST! We hope everyone is having just as much fun as we are! See you later!
