Yes, this is what it looks like (or at least I hope it looks like that but idk. It might not for all I know)

I am going away for some time.

Sorry if this feels very sudden, but I really need to step away for a bit.

I have to invest my energies in some other things and get some stuff sorted out in life.

Also, it would be nice to get away from some of the crazy drama that happens here for a bit.

I won't be going forever as I still have work to do here (such as finishing Cilerion, the project I initially made an account here for. I'll have to make a new thing for that eventually since the comments closed on the thread. :\)

However, I will probably be gone for at least 3 to 6 months.

I'm not sure exactly how long the hiatus will last.

It could be somewhat longer than what's stated for all I know.

Hopefully it won't last too long though.

As shown in the linked wall post, I had this planned since February and it was initially supposed to happen not long after the end of my Draw My Character (DMC) contest.

However, stuff ended up happening that kind of delayed things.

My apologies to anyone who was hoping otherwise, but I've decided that I can't delay it any longer.

I feel like some of this could be on me since I didn't really do much to inform everyone about this plan.

I mean, in my defense, the reasons for that would probably be that it would be weird to constantly be like "Oh, I'm leaving!" every month when I wouldn't really be leaving until numerous months later.

Also, I kind of didn't want to feel like I was trying to draw too much attention to it as if I were some attention-seeker.

Unfortunately, I guess that had some drawbacks.

I ended up meeting a lot of people who didn't join until sometime after I made the initial post, and even the people who were around during that time might have missed or forgotten it.

I ended up getting caught up in stuff that pushed the day of leaving further ahead.

Towards the end, I decided to put some subtle hints that I was going to be stepping away (such as the status and the "Quote of the Month" remaining the same for more than just one month {not to mention the quote itself.})

They didn't seem to get too many people's attention. :\

Enough about that though.

The video I linked basically just shows the scene where the quote comes from.

I kind of realize that the scene doesn't really have that much to do with me, but whatever.

I like the quote.

It kind of resonates with me in a particular way.

Idk though, maybe that's just me being a nerd or geek or something.

Whatever.

Being an assistant gravedigger, I know all too well how many have left us this year alone.

I kind of regret that there have been people I haven't gotten to know as well as I might have wanted.

Nevertheless, I'm grateful to have been in a community which has shown great love and care for its members.

I'm aware not everyone is a good egg, but the amount of good eggs there are has contributed to making this community wonderful.

Thank you to everyone who has been kind to me and helped to get me where I am.

I hope that, when I come back, this community will still be one driven by caring souls.
