Evelyn the Evoker was always among my favourite contestants! She is a liberal and intelligent illager who stands up against raiding and inequality and supports left-leaning political movements. She is confident and willing to stand up for herself and her friends when they need help, and she is always up for a good challenge. Despite this, she can be a bit rash and reckless at times, often relying on Totems of Undying to get her out of a sticky situation. Throughout the course of BENT, Evelyn was 17 years old and was in a relationship with Peter the Vindicator!

BENT Fact Of The Day: Shadow Allay, debuting in chapter 15, Phantom Reflections, has a lot more lore to her than what initially meets the eye! For those of you who don't know, a Hollow is a sculk mutant creature that can spawn naturally in certain Deep Dark regions, or be created in a lab. The latter's initial purpose was to make an expendable defence system for the people of sculky areas. Her original design featured her with shorter hair and a different colour palette and 'dress' design. This was later changed into her current iteration and released alongside a design of one of Allay's late elder sisters, with the given reason on the wiki page being "lore reasons"

BENT Community,

Hello all, and happy new year. I doubt anyone is still here to read, see, or interact with this. I don't know if any of my followers are still active, or if anyone still remembers or even cares about BENT anymore. The fact of the matter is that I very much do, and I wanted to take this moment to say that in 2022, when I created Battle for the Enchanted Netherite Trophy, I valued every one of my readers, voters, and all who read it and commented. BENT truely was my most precious treasure back then, and by extention, so were you. I enjoyed reading your comments and spin-offs and interacting with you in the roleplay chapters, and it was my honor to be the one behind this incredible, bygone, community.

I didn't want to lose BENT, which is why I kept it going for so long after I noticed the engagement dwindling. I was clenching sand in my fists and holding on tight, and that sand was slipping through my fingers. It was only once I realized that the community was dying that I opened my palms and let those few grains of what I had left sit in my hands. I have since moved that sand into a tiny bottle that I keep on my shelf. There were times in the months leading up to the indefenete hiatus that I was advised to let go and end it, but I stubbornly held on tighter, doubling down and blaming the community for their lack of interaction. I said that the community that I valued so was the reason for its downfall, and made posts that I regretted.

At the end of the day, I'd like you all to know that BENT, while long gone, still holds a special place in my heart. I have taken on the name Marianne Golden online and named my guild in Cookie Run Kingdom KirunaCampus after the show. Remember to savor what you have when you have it, because you never know when that treasure will be torn away. Maybe you are so greedy, wrapped up in your desires, that you are too blind to see it slipping away before your eyes, or you're aware of its fleeting nature, but too stubborn to let it go. Remember that the tighter you hold on to a handfull of sand, the faster it will fall from your grasp. Only when you open your palms and let it sit in a pile in your cupped hands, can you carry more. Let go, move on. Put the sand in a jar, and those treasures can live on. And then, your hands are free. Maybe you still have a few grains stuck to them, but that's ok. Go out there and find a new treasure. It won't be just like what you've lost, but that new treasrue will be precious in its own special way.
