    Rightio! I did not draw yesterday as I got very very tired lol, I still am today so I did a simple silly mix of yesterday's and today's prompt! I am following Spilled Ink's prompts for both day, Squid being yesterday's and today's being Nail.
    So I drew a stylish squid showing off her newly done nails!! (yes I'm aware they dont got nails like this)

    Something I want to point out on OpenProfile's coming update:

    It will be possible to publish your characters while limiting who can read the profile itself. This means, you can have your character overview (image, short about me, legal info) public while keeping all the small details to trusted individuals. With AI all over the web trying to train on content, it will be recommended to leave the profile itself public, but enforce reading it to registered users which is a new visibility type.

    also i can't make a ticket because the text editor isn't showing up on mobile either (for the tickets, it's fine here, but still can't add an image)..so i wouldn't be able to add an image, which feels kinda..important for a bug report since i don't even know where to begin with describing it

    Hello! I ran out of time today to really finish today's prompt, but I did try to shade the helmet a bit. Today I went with Spilled Ink's prompt, which was armor!
    It's a drawing of my plush frog Dazzy that I received as a gift from Yuki :D (he's very kind and those I talk to ((or follow my insta) know how much I love Dazzy, I even made a crochet star bag with a star pocket specifically for him so I can take him everywhere)

I've been very busy with my personal life which has greatly helped me in my productivity outside of making art. However, I try my best to squeeze some time into working on my drawings!     Thank you for your input! I actually didn't think too much about the clothing in relation to the theme of my project (which is a fault on my part 😅). However, with how my notes have been recently, I may shoot for a more silly approach compared to typical noir-styled stories. I found it very interesting to have a somewhat realistic approach with more wacky stuff, and I think it would work out great for how my plans are turning out. Things can change if needed, but only time will tell!

    I Second the shape language 🔥

    My only very fine nitpick would be the clothing vs the story/world theme? They feel more like school/academic characters rather than recognizing immediately as detectives/from a mystery story, if that's what your going for.
    *If* you wanted to go that way, I would recommend looking at film noir or detective character designs (Including side characters that make up the respective "Worlds"!), and try to see what gives them "the vibe" of the theme, and see if you can incorporate aspects of that into your characters.

    But all that being said, recognition is based on association, and it is very easy to push too far and end up looking like every other character from that genre. The most important thing is to create what you enjoy, and think is truest to what you imagine.

    The Scooby doo team has absolutely nothing to indicate ghosts or monster hunting via the characters, but are still as accepted and famous as they are.

    must of the stuff i found was from 2017, or at the latest 2023. and they are talking about the exact same issues we have now. and they are being listed as warning shots, which are really important. depending on humanitys response it determines the course of wether we survive a disaster as a species, and how soon we regognise somethings wrong.

    and we arnt doing to well.

    all the stuff theyre talking about is happening.

    and all i want is to be sitting on my familys carpeted garage floor again in the summer holidays, as an 8yrold, listening to the radio and reading my childhood dads crappy 80s misogonistic problomatic as hell sci fi novels, that he didnt want to throw away, thats covers were practically falling apart, and reading about concepts like ai taking over and killing us all, and thinking how unrealistic it was and that would never happen in real life.

    i wish i still thought that. i wish i could reread my childhood novels and not be deeply disturbed by how similar they are to our reality.

    the warning shots are so, so fucking clear. good god.

    having a confirmed over 10% chance for extinction IS a big warning shot. not to mention thats only whats being revealed puplicly, which will likely be dwindled down to avoid panic and legal action, other studys point to chances as high as a 99% extinction rate for building super ais.

    it has gotten that bad in the background.

    wake tf up.

    i know i have a very small platform on here, but like anything helps. pls consider spreading awarness. tell ur family. tell ur friends. tell ur audience.

    i know you might disagree with me. thats ok. but pls consider what i have to say at the least. i am not trying to force my beleifs on anyone, just educate people about this and express my personal opinion. if people want sources i can give them. (:
