Let's wrap up the beginning of Spring with some more entries in the Spring Fling Event, shall we?! We now have a total of 356 entries! Let's see what you've been working on this past month, it could be featured on our official twitter or the summary and the conclusion of the event!

Looking into May, we will be hosting both an official project contest as well as an official skin contest. The theme? You choose! Head on over to the skin contest poll and the project contest poll to vote for May's themes! Even if you have no intention of participating, vote for the theme you want to see the community challenged with.

OFFICIAL EVENTS AND CONTESTS
The Spring Fling Community Event is still running! We now have a total of 266 entries, ranging from pastel skins to beautifully written spring poems! Which entries do you like the most? Leave a diamond, favorite or comment on them, or even make a dedicated wall-post to feature them! One of our favorite projects is Blooming Lilac by Nitrox Nova. The speed that it grows is controlled by a minecart passing over a detector rail. Cool! Check out the video in the submission to see the lilac in action!

Okay so I was in the first lecture for my international project management certificate and dear god... this guy.. I swear to god I have never been so angry about a person the first day I met them

So a little info about this: the certificate is 850 EUR that I paid from my own pocket to this guy, including the script which we use to discuss everything.

Now I also happen to write a bachelor thesis as we speak and a nice little piece of it is about modelling business processes... which he also happens to have modelled in his script! great! something I recognize!
But..what is this? He made mistakes all over the place!... damn none of this makes any sense! AND NOW HE'S EXPLAINING EVERYTHING IN A DIFFERENT ORDER THAN HE PUT INTO HIS MODEL! I better let him know...

So I point this mistake out to him and the guy just completely explodes and tell me that if there's so much wrong with it then why don't I just hand in a correct one....

Dear god...

Excuse me Mr. Angry but THIS IS YOUR JOB! I PAID ALMOST 900 EUROS SO EXCUSE ME FOR DEMANDING CORRECT INFORMATION IN YOUR PAPERS!
And what kinda reaction is that? The guy is 50 years old... my god how professional of him.

Listen, everyone
There's no reason to feel attacked when somebody points out a mistake you made EVER. Be glad they're pointing it out. Especially if you're trying to teach them something. It proves to you that they care enough and want the people you're teaching after them to have the corrected version.
So be grateful for every correction you get. The error is already spotted. You're not going to seem less competent because if they think that because of your mistake then it's already too late. Now is the time for honesty!

Improve your work!

So what I'm going to do now is make a corrected version of his model and print it out for tomorrow.
I'll probably be kicked out for this but hey... As long as he fixes it...

Just saw the news about the fire in the Notre Dame Cathedral. Really sad. I hope it does not burn down completely.

After 2 years of development, I am very happy to finally announce my solution to the Airbus A320 family. I have tested many designs and taking the public comments from my previous models and studied them. Now without the unaligned cabin level, my new model is looking as fresh as it is. I also been working to give you the enhanced cabin work. I can't wait to putting out the new model!! See you soon!!
