Greetings artists and crafters! I know you’ve been waiting, and it’s finally the time!
    Time to post your CursedCraftsonas!
I know, it’s been agonizing not being able to post them due to the swearing to secrecy and the threats associated with the aforementioned swearing to secrecy, but now is finally your time.
Post art of your Personas fitted out with the gear you unlocked during the CursedCraft Event! Let’s all have fun reminiscing on our wonderful time playing CursedCraft together.

There’s no reward! Only fun. Though if you tag me in your art I will personally provide you with a [SAGE OF WISDOMS] all of your own. Out of the kindness of my heart and the depths of my wealth.

Keep up the great drawings artists! :D

Guys, the April event was AWESOME! I'm so sorry a lot of you missed it. Now, it's the silliest thing! I had been patiently waiting for the mail, yet my VHS never came... I just know it was a mistake. I sent a couple (473 🤭) letters asking where my VHS was to Cyprezz, but he never responded! He must've just been busy. 🤣

I took matters into my own hands and searched the PMC storehouse!! After 29 hours of searching without food or water (besides my emergency ration of beanboolzed jellybeans) I FOUND IT! 😁😁😁

Now that's all said and done- does anyone have a map of this place??? I'm a little lost... and running out of beans…

I completely missed it, but apparently, I've been on PMC for 8 years! Wow! Crazy! I've been reminiscing a bit and telling my newfound friends all about my adventures.

Some of you may not know this (or some of you actually might), but I grew up on PMC. I had just turned 13 when I first joined the site, and initially, I was only a mediocre builder. I primarily focused on houses and the like--simple things that didn't require much thought to it. At the time, it felt like those houses were the only simple joy I had. It wasn't until I was 14 that I was introduced to the server Divine Creative, and soon after, terraforming and becoming a contest judge. I remember being scared, excited, and proud that I was selected to be a contest judge for the BassCrafters Project Contest. It seemed like such an insane feat at the time... to be a judge at the ripe old age of 14 was practically my proudest moment.

That is until the site held its first (and last, lol) moderator applications. I threw my name in the ring, not expecting anything to come out of it. You could call it wishful thinking. In fact, I was so certain they reviewed my application and immediately denied it. I was only a contest judge, nothing more, nothing less. But, on January 2nd, 2018 (when I was 14!), I received a message from Cyprezz asking me to be a Forum Moderator. I was at a very low point in my life, so sometimes, I feel like this is one of the few things that kept me going. I remember showing my mom, dad, and even my brother the DM. Even if they couldn't understand what exactly "Minecraft Planet" was, they were proud. I was proud. Everything was finally working out.

Skip a few years and many errors; here we are in 2021. I had just received my first college degree (shout out to Early College High School and receiving my Associate's degree before I turned 18 lol) and just turned 18 one month prior--the coronavirus was coming to a close, colleges were opening campus back up, and I found myself alone on a campus far away from anything I had known. During my orientation to attend my university, I received another DM from Cyprezz. Initially, I thought nothing of it--perhaps he was asking me to clarify some moderation or another random shenanigan, so I disregarded the message until later that night.

Let's set the scene. The way my orientation was set up was that we were all placed into rooms for the night. You had one roommate and two other suitemates that shared a restroom--and this was a very CRAMPED place to put 4 new college students. The rooms were so small that the beds had to be lofted to fit the furniture underneath them, and you were no more than 5 feet away from a person at all times.

Anyway, let's just say I opened the message and immediately threw up everywhere, LOL. I had never been so shocked to my core, ever. My roommate woke up, my suitemates came rushing in, and here I was, so pleasantly surprised about a DM that I threw up over it. I remember they were so concerned, and I kept repeating, "NO GUYS, REALLY IT'S FINE," over and over and over again. Naturally, after that fiasco ended, I accepted the offer, and my name was now yellow.

Now, here we are in 2024, 8 years since my initial joining. If I had asked little ol' me if I imagined this was how everything would turn out, I would probably have called the police because why is there a so-called time traveler in my house?? And then, I would say no. When I was 13, life seemed so... grim. I never in a million years would have thought that I had the potential to do something like this.

To be your moderator is probably one of my greatest joys and proudest titles. This site was just as important to me as it is now, and I foresee many more years of being silly in wall posts and nuking ad bots.

    Here's to another 8 years!

    Hi PMC,

We typically avoid discussing sensitive situations publicly, but the recent case between an off-site group and member has understandably caused significant confusion, frustration, and disappointment regarding the incident itself and how it was handled by all parties involved. Given the timing and complexity of the case, careful consideration was necessary to investigate and determine the appropriate response. While I genuinely empathize with everyone involved, I am also disappointed with how the situation was managed.

    Brief of the incident
Late last week, a private situation became public when a targeted member posted about a group of members investigating them for various serious allegations. The targeted member views themselves as the victim, while some members of the group also see themselves as victims. The group was on a third party platform and investigation conducted in private there. When information from this group leaked, the target decided to post about it publicly on our platform. Understandably, this has left many members feeling confused, frustrated, and upset having heard one side of the story. In addition, we were blamed for not doing more.

    Could it be prevented?
In general, our policy is to consider but not moderate based on unverifiable third-party activities. This can be frustrating for both the reporter and us. We always review and consider the evidence, but we must remember that things can be taken out of context, manipulated, or even fabricated. In these cases, we recommend reporting the activity to the third-party platform where it can be verified and necessary actions taken. If we can correlate or link the reported activity to what is happening on our platform, we will consider taking further action here. However, if there's nothing to support the activity on our platform, it is difficult to justify taking action. In this particular case, while we could verify that a group existed on a third-party platform, we were unable to see their discussions, and it didn't feel right to assume it was malicious rather than existing for valid reasons. Ultimately, what they discussed in private was beyond our control.

What can we do to help prevent similar situations from happening?
This is a one of a kind incident for us in the past 14 years and we'll learn from it. This incident has been challenging for everyone involved, highlighting the need for more information on how to properly report, prevent and address conflicts within our community. While we stand by our policy of not moderating based on unverifiable third-party activities, we recognize that more can be done to support all parties involved and to maintain trust within the community.

Moving forward, we are committed to improving our guidelines, support systems, and moderation practices to ensure that incidents like this are handled more effectively. We are always open to suggestions on how to improve. We deeply regret the confusion, frustration, and disappointment that this situation has caused, and we appreciate the community's patience as we work to learn from this experience and make necessary changes. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment for everyone, and we are dedicated to doing better in the future.

We concluded our own investigation on information available and have taken actions that we deem to be appropriate at this time.
