PMC, do you cook?! Get ready to share your tasty dishes, the Recipe Jam is here! Whether it’s your favorite treat, brewing a delicious stew, mixing a refreshing drink or inventing a totally new recipe, this is your chance to mix, mash, and serve up something unforgettable. Let your imagination simmer and let's see what you've got for us to try.
PLEASE change the logo to a pixel consistent one🙏 i know youve had that one for a long time but PLEASE 😭 it would look way better and wouldnt be all that different (no offense)
Well, a jam is a PMC feature that allows people to submit skins, texture packs, maps, etc. often going off of a theme. This one in particular is autumn/fall themed. It will likely be held during… well… Fall!
Help bring our upcoming October in-game event to life by creating a festive NPC skin! Think scarecrow farmers, pie vendors, wandering storytellers, anyone you'd meet at a cozy Fall celebration. Give them a name, a location in the festival, and maybe even a few fun lines of dialog. Your creation could become part of the festival world!
We're gearing up for an exciting Fall Festival on Planet Minecraft, and we need your creativity to make it spectacular! Join the Planting Season Jam by contributing builds, blogs, or art inspired by autumn themes like harvest, cozy vibes, and festive celebrations.
How to Participate:
Builds & Assets: Create structures or decorative items that capture the essence of fall.
Blogs & Art: Share stories, ideas, or artwork envisioning the perfect fall festival.
Submission Guidelines:
Theme: Focus on autumn-related concepts—think pumpkins, falling leaves, and harvest festivals.
Format: Provide your creations as Minecraft maps, schematics, or blog posts.
Compatibility: Ensure builds are compatible with Minecraft Java version 1.21.5.
hello pmc! i’ll be inactive or lurking from now on, maybe i’ll pop on to say “hi” to my favourite creators! <3 thanks to anyone who showed me support or love !! 🍂
aw im so sorry for everything that happened, and it just saw this post ill miss you so much, thank you sm for all the support and kindness, i send you the best <3
My followers may have noticed my slight inactivity. This post will explain why I haven’t been quite as active. (It’s rather long, so if you’re not interested, keep scrolling).
Nearly 4 months ago I found a user (on this site), that was using my colours (off my skins), for their own skins. I consulted a moderator, and asked the user to stop. They denied all of it, and carried on. This is not against the PMC rules, so they are allowed to do it, nothing can be done basically. Just last week I found another user doing the same thing.
For me this has been a very frustrating experience. I put a lot of effort into my work, and found this to be very demotivating and demoralising. When you put time into something that brings you joy, and somebody takes that for their own benefit it’s pretty frustrating.
I’m probably being dramatic, and this may sound stupid, but I’m not sure I want to continue making skins. If this is going to be my experience and the fruits of my work, then I don’t want it.
2024 has already been a tough year, not just for me but for my family. My grandfather passed away (I didn’t know him), and we’ve had financial difficulties, and had to deal with a narcissistic bully. The last thing I needed was this. Moving into 2025, I’m getting older. I need to focus on my schoolwork and start thinking about university, learning to drive, and all that sort of stuff.
I have enjoyed my time on here (mostly), and have met some amazing creators, and learnt a lot! I just don’t have the energy for this anymore if all my work is going to taken. I strive to be unique and myself, however I can’t do that anymore if this is going to happen. I probably sound dramatic, and maybe I am, but if this is making me unhappy why continue?
I don’t think I’l leave just yet! Although the start of 2025 looks like a good place to start fresh. ❤️🩹
It's definitely a controversial move, so I decided to ask the moderators about it.
The moderator who answered wasn't involved in the situation, but was still able to give insight on the decision that was made.
So, in summary, it comes down where they draw the line for what is or isn't illegal plagiarism. Taking parts of a skin that was made by someone else entirely is not allowed and requires taking action. Color palettes, however, are different. The set of colors that someone used can't be claimed as that person's own creation. The moderator compared it to reusing block gradients. People may have discovered that block combination, but they didn't invent the blocks themselves. Another example I can add is knockoff movies. They are not breaking the law by trying to look like something else. It may be shameful to the imitators, but they aren't breaking the law until they try to take from the original. I hope this helps.
it is hard to abandon something you actually enjoy but if you don't enjoy it anymore then don't feel forced to continue take the time to decide what really makes you happy :)
however, if this is all only about the guys who tend to steal - please don't let them stop you.
I experienced people stealing my whole maps and while it is super sad they are gonna be wannabes forever and you are gonna stay a true talented artist :)

We've revamped our Site Rules with new sections focused on Social Interactions and Moderation— to help make the platform more welcoming and transparent for everyone.
✅ What’s new?
Our content rules remain the same, but the Social section is all about outlining what’s already been happening naturally but wasn't documented! This is to help newcomers understand how to engage positively and give everyone a clearer reference point. Ideally, if it helps prevent even small misunderstandings or frustrations, it's a win.
The Moderation section provides some insight into our responsibilities and actions. It's one small step towards offering transparency so you know how we keep the community fun, safe, and respectful. We're working on a larger update to this end.
We’re also compiling FAQs to make your PMC experience even smoother for both new members and exploring features of our platform! You can help us out by posting in this forum. Just prepend your thread title with “FAQ:” and—bonus points!—if you can provide the answers in your thread. Every contribution helps the community grow stronger and helps us understand what needs to be answered!
Let’s keep building an awesome community together.
Statistics show that LGBTQ+ youth are 4 times more likely to attempt suicide, and as a support group, we want to prevent that as much as we can. No matter how dire you're feeling, just know that you are loved and supported by this group of people, and there are people like you. You are not alone in this. You are worth living. ❤️
I'm not too entirely sure what to put here, but I'm so excited to get to meet this lovely community and my first skin will be coming very soon! Oh! Also, once Skindex is eventually back up and running, I have intentions to also set up an account there and post some of my creations there as well! That is all -- I hope that anyone who is reading this has a great rest of your day and a refreshing sleep too! <3
(/rant-ish reminder) (note: nothing controversial is meant at all)
Good morning PMC! I hope y'all are having a good morning and that your day goes great! And if you live in a different time zone, I hope your day is going well or that it did go well!
But today, I do want to bring something up to everyone's attention that I think should be addressed. It's time we talk about how we treat others. This doesn't have to relate to anything. I'm going to be general.
On PMC, we're all allowed to opinions. As well, we are always allowed to agree to disagree. We all have different opinions and that's okay! That's what makes us, well, us. You're unique and no one else is quite like you.
With that also being said, don't shame someone or judge someone for their opinions or what they believe in. That's just being a jerk. We all are different in our own ways, and we should realize that.
Some of us came on PMC to escape the real world's judgment (as I did too) and to be socially accepted on here without facing judgment or censorship for what we believe in. Well, if you judge people for what they believe in, but you came to escape judgment, you're no different than the people that judge and censor you.
Here some tips from me: If you don't agree with something, you can: (A) Scroll right past it, (B)Try to see from their point of view, or (C) do research into the topic. Don't comment negative stuff because that's just being mean.
Respect and be open to different stuff! The more you learn of different demographics, the better your understanding is and how you can see from their point of view!
Be kind and be respectful every day and a good day on PMC will be every day! But again, that's just a thought.
Overall: treat others the way you want to be treated! I made this post because I don't want to see my friends fighting with each other. Why can't we all just hang out normally, putting aside politics or movements or ideals and just see that we're all humans?
Didn’t finish my bed by dark, so I just dug a hole and squeezed in.
