There are 2 Days left in the review phase of the Love Poems blog contest! In this phase, YOU can help your favorite poems make it to the finalists by diamonding them! There are short and sweet poems, long poems, a poem about a toaster, poems about donuts. The community really came up with some great poetry for this contest and we guarantee you'll smile!

Wide PMC Update!

With over 3 million members and 10+ years of content and changing web design practices, Planet Minecraft felt a bit cramped.

• Website is now wider.
  
• Updated Pop Reel Design + Full width on homepage and listings.
• Removed side column from content listings. 3 cards instead of 2 per row. Less distraction from content.
  
• Revised all content page layouts to put focus on content and consolidate information.
• Moved and maximized content gallery images, video and thumbnail layout.
• Moved who did what lists (diamonds, favs) into the more menu.
• Larger Skin Previewer + Default animation set to stand instead of skip / flail about.
• Fixed Trending on Homepage | It was displaying updated...
  
• Added "Upload" option to the top right member menu. Easy access from any page.
  
• Moved Explore Next, Previous, Random content options into the side column on content pages.
  
• Added additional feedback animations on buttons.
  
• and many minor tweaks not worth listing.

As with all design updates, it can take a bit of time to get used to and we'll continue to tweak based on your feedback as well as what we see and feel as we browse the updated community. There's such a wide variety of content and members that it's difficult test all cases. If you see an issue, please open a ticket.

Happy Wednesday! This is just a mid week reminder that there's still time to create an entry into the Maze Making Contest! ALL Skill levels are encouraged to give it a shot! You can have a completed entry in just under a few hours, since the machine does a lot of the heavy work for you!

Okay! What do I do?
1. Download the Maze Maker Deluxe. This starter map contains templates - the elements that will compose your maze.
Build your walls, corridors, traps, challenges and more! Easy peasy.

2. Draw the maze layout in the provided map chests.

3. Compile the maze by pressing the button!

4. Submit your entry!

🚨DIAMOND ALERT🚨 Diamond Distributor's January diamond distribution is in peril! The site is preventing further diamonds from going out, citing having reached the 50k limit (which likely includes emeralds as well, since we haven't quite gotten to 50k) and requiring the review of an admin. Hopefully the diamonds will be rolling out again soon! -Yours, Diamond Distributor

UPDATE: Administration has received word and replied! No estimated time yet, but we'll get back to distribution eventually!

Who's familiar with Advent Calendars? They're quite fun if you ask us, and a great way to kick off and celebrate the month of December! Did you know they date back to 19th century in Germany? The first one was made in 1851!

Advent calendars are a special calendar used to count the days until Christmas. Some are 24 days, some are longer, counting down the days until the New Year. The point is, every day of December you get a treat. Modern days you can find Advent Calendars of various themes ranging from different chocolates to different toys.

We're telling you this because now, you can have your very own in Minecraft! Every day of December, you can get yourself some free items using the Advent Calendar data pack Bertiecrafter made here! Higher tiered treats are included around Christmas and New Year's Eve. How cool!

PMC baked us a cake for our 10th Anniversary!

The upper half is lemon cake with lemon swiss meringue buttercream and the bottom half is made of rice crispy layers with chocolate ganache in between. The clay sculptures are to scale! Each block is 1"

Who's ready for and EPIC FIREWORKS show?!

Show starts at approximately 4PM (about 15 minutes from now)! We will wait a few minutes to give everyone a chance to join in. Afterwards, we will gather for a group photo so be sure to stick around!

What fun we're having on the server!!

The information for the Hypixel meet up has been posted! Remember, there will be just 1 group in the first hour; in the following hours there will be 2 groups for optimal participation!

We also launched the Papercraft Photography Competition. It will run for the entire month! We added some accessories to Paper Craft so you can decorate and create really cool scenes. We encourage you to use them!

In addition, we've added a GROUP PHOTO to our schedule, to be held after the fireworks at 4PM EST! We hope everyone is having just as much fun as we are! See you later!

For the first hour of Hypixel games (12PM-1PM) There will be just ONE group of 25. The following hours will have 2 groups available. There's a small housing unit/hub that -Rae- deactivated built if you want to hang out there. We will be posting more about this shortly!
