Back in October when we made this announcement, we thought after a few weeks, maybe at most a month, I would have a little more time and be in a groove with our small human and return to writing the Weekly's and be involved in this wonderful community once again. Turns out, she runs the show and requires basically every second of my time. She's lucky she's cute. 😛 I don't know when I'll start having time to write the newsletter again, but just know that it's always on my mind as are you 💙 Hope you are all doing great and are happy and healthy! Happy Wednesday! This is just a mid week reminder that there's still time to create an entry into the Maze Making Contest! ALL Skill levels are encouraged to give it a shot! You can have a completed entry in just under a few hours, since the machine does a lot of the heavy work for you!
Okay! What do I do? 1. Download the Maze Maker Deluxe. This starter map contains templates - the elements that will compose your maze. Build your walls, corridors, traps, challenges and more! Easy peasy.
2. Draw the maze layout in the provided map chests.
Who's familiar with Advent Calendars? They're quite fun if you ask us, and a great way to kick off and celebrate the month of December! Did you know they date back to 19th century in Germany? The first one was made in 1851!
Advent calendars are a special calendar used to count the days until Christmas. Some are 24 days, some are longer, counting down the days until the New Year. The point is, every day of December you get a treat. Modern days you can find Advent Calendars of various themes ranging from different chocolates to different toys.
We're telling you this because now, you can have your very own in Minecraft! Every day of December, you can get yourself some free items using the Advent Calendar data pack Bertiecrafter made here! Higher tiered treats are included around Christmas and New Year's Eve. How cool!

The official PMC museum has just opened, and is full with interesting things to see! One of them, is the exhibition I created about self-generating cities :-) To find it, go on the official PM server, in the "Member Content" wing, on the entrance of the "Builds & Blogs" room. You'll see two self-replicating dioramas, a photo gallery of surreal limitless worlds and you'll discover many curiosities about these machines. There is also an area dedicated to the Procedural Metropolis Contest! I'll wait for you!

Show starts at approximately 4PM (about 15 minutes from now)! We will wait a few minutes to give everyone a chance to join in. Afterwards, we will gather for a group photo so be sure to stick around!
The information for the Hypixel meet up has been posted! Remember, there will be just 1 group in the first hour; in the following hours there will be 2 groups for optimal participation!
We also launched the Papercraft Photography Competition. It will run for the entire month! We added some accessories to Paper Craft so you can decorate and create really cool scenes. We encourage you to use them!
In addition, we've added a GROUP PHOTO to our schedule, to be held after the fireworks at 4PM EST! We hope everyone is having just as much fun as we are! See you later!

Happy ALMOST Spooptober, everyone! There are a lot of "tober" prompt lists, and we didn't want anyone to miss the first day themes! So, we've included Day 1 themes with links to each corresponding tober event. Whether you skin, draw, build or write, there's a tober prompt for each! Let's spread the tober cheer!
What is Skintober? Skintober is an event in October that Fawne came up with in 2017 to help improve their skin making. Participants are tasked with creating a Halloween themed skin each day corresponding to a calendar, similar to Inktober! Since then, members from around the site have created their own Skintober prompt lists, and remains a tradition in the skinning community.
There have been several spin off's of Skintober including Storytober and Drawtober. They're also included in this list!
While they are listed alongside standard definition skins, they are easily identifiable and filtered using the "Format" filter. We support 128x128 resolution because it's officially supported by the Bedrock Edition.
Besides the higher resolution, it's easy to identify HD skins by their isometric preview and label "HD Bedrock Minecraft Skin". HD skins can only be downloaded. We are unable to support remote change or papercraft.
Game Version Support HD skins are officially supported by the Minecraft Bedrock Edition and unofficially supported in Minecraft Java Edition with the use of Optifine the MorePlayerModels mod.
Note: If you've already published your HD player skins in a blog, you can republish them without taking down your blog. It's up to you.
